一、以形式主语it引导的句型

1．It（so）happened（chanced）that＋从句

＝sb.happened/chancedtodosth.

＝sb.didsth.bychance

例：

IthappenedthathewasoutwhenIgotthere.

当我到那儿时，碰巧他不在。

＝HehappenedtobeoutwhenIgotthere./ItchancedthathewasoutwhenIgotthere./HewasoutbychancewhenIgotthere.

2．Itseems/appearsthatsb.do/bedoing/havedone/haddone

＝Sb.seems/appearstodo/bedoing/havedone/tobedone/tohavebeendone

例：

ItseemedthathehadbeentoBeijingbefore.

他好像以前去过北京。

＝HeseemedtohavebeentoBeijingbefore.

3．Itis/was＋被强调的部分＋that（who）＋剩余的部分。

例：

（1）Itwasn'tuntilhecamebackthatIwenttobed.

直到他回来我才睡觉。

（一定要注意被强调句型中的谓语动词否定的转移）

（2）Itwasbecausehewasillthathedidn'tcometoschooltoday.

只因为他生病了今天才没有来上学。

（只能用because而不能用for，as或since）

4．Itis/was＋表示地点时间的名词＋where/when＋从句。

（注意本句不是强调句型，而是以where/when引导的定语从句）

例：

（1）ItwasthishousewhereIwasborn.

请比较：

ItwasinthishousethatIwasborn.（强调句型）

（2）Itwas1999whenhecamebackfromtheUnitedStates.

请比较：

Itwasin1999thathecamebackfromtheUnitedStates.（强调句型）

5．Itis/wassaid（reported...）＋that＋从句。

例：

Itwassaidthathehadreadthisnovel.

据说他读过这篇小说。

＝Hewassaidtohavereadthisnovel.

6．Itisimpossible/necessary/strange...that＋从句。

（注意从句中的谓语用should＋do/shouldhavedone，其形式是虚拟语气）

例：

Itisstrangethatheshouldhavefailedinthisexam.

真奇怪，他这次考试没及格。

7．Itis＋apity/ashame...that＋从句。

（注意从句中的谓语动词用shoulddo或shouldhavedone的形式，但should可以省略）

例：

Hedidn'tcomebackuntilthefilmended.Itwasapitythatheshouldhavemissedthisfilm.

他直到电影结束才回来。

他没有看到这部电影真可惜。

8．Itissuggested/ordered/commanded...that＋从句。

（从句的谓语动词用shoulddo，但should可以省略）

例：

Itissuggestedthatthemeetingshouldbeputoff.

有人建议推迟会议。

9．Itishightime（time/abouttime）＋（that）主语＋shoulddo/did＋其他。

（从句中的谓语动词用的是虚拟语气）

例：

Itishightimethatweshouldgo/wenthome.

我们该回家了。

10．Itiswellknownthat＋从句。

例：

Itiswellknownthatsheisalearnedwoman.

众所周知，她是一位知识渊博的女人。

11．Itis＋段时间＋since＋主语＋did/Itwas＋段时间＋since＋主语＋haddone。

例：

Itisfiveyearssincehelefthere.

他已经离开这儿五年了。

＝Itwasfiveyearssincehehadlefthere.

12.It＋谓语＋段时间＋before＋主语＋谓语。

（before引导的是时间状语从句）

例：

（1）Itwasn'tlongbeforethepeopleinthatcountryroseup.

没有多久那个国家的人民就起义了。

（2）Itwillbethreehoursbeforehecomesback.

三个小时之后他才能回来。

13．Itis＋possible/impossible/necessary...＋for＋sb.＋todo。

例：

Itisimpossibleformetofinishthisworkbeforetomorrow.

我不可能在明天之前完成这个工作。

14．Itis＋（心理品质方面的）nice/kind/foolish...＋of＋sb.＋todo。

＝主语＋be＋adj.＋todo

例：

Itiskindofyoutohelpme.

＝Youarekindtohelpme.

二、定语从句

15．由as引导的非限制性的定语从句。

例：

Aswehaveknown，heisamostgoodstudent.

众所周知，他是个很好的学生。

请比较：

Itiswellknownthatheisamostgoodstudent.（主语从句）

16.由which引导的非限制性定语从句。

Heisaprofessor，whichIhavebeenlookingforwardtobecoming.

他是个教授，那是我一直盼望的职业。

（因为先行词professor是表示职业的名词，因此引导词用which，而不用who）

17.由where，when引导的定语从句。

例：

（1）ThisisthehousewhereIusedtocome.

这是我曾经来过的房子。

请比较：

Thisisthehousewhich/thatIusedtocometo.

ThisisthedaywhenIjoinedtheParty.

（2）这是我入党的日子。

请比较：

Thisisthedaywhich/thatIjoinedthePartyon.

三、让步状语从句

18．Nomatterwhat/which/who/where/when/whose＋从句＋主句。

（注意从句中的时态一般情况下用一般现在时）

例：

（1）Nomatterwhatyoudo，youmustdoitwell.

无论你做什么，一定要做好。

请比较：

Whateveryoudo，youmustdoitwell.

你无论去哪儿，请通知我。

（2）Nomatterwhereyougo，pleaseletmeknow.

请比较：

Whereveryougo，pleaseletmeknow.

（注意Iwilltellwhoeverwouldliketoreadit.句中的whoever不能用whomever来代替。

因为它既作动词tell的宾语，又作后面从句的主语）

四、条件状语从句

19．Solongas/Aslongas/Once＋从句＋主句。

例：

（1）Aslongasyougivemeanymoney，Iwillletyougo.

只要你给我钱，我就让你走。

（2）OnceyouhavebeguntolearnEnglish，youshouldlearnitwell.

一旦你开始学英语，你就应该把它学好。

20．主句＋onconditionthat＋从句。

例：

Iwillgowithyouonconditionthatyougivemeasumofmoney.

我会跟你走，条件是你得给我一笔钱。

21．主句＋unless＋从句。

（注意由于unless本身是否定词，所引导的从句的谓语动词用肯定而不用否定）

例：

Iwillgotheretomorrowunlessitrains.

如果明天不下雨的话，我就去那儿。

22．祈使句＋and/andthen＋主句。

（注意祈使句也可换成一个名词短语）

例：

（1）Useyourhead，andyouwillfindagoodidea.

开动脑子，你会找到一个好方法的。

（2）Anotherword，andIwillbeatyou.

你再说一句，我就揍你。

23．If＋necessary/impossible/important等＋主句。

（注意if与形容词之间的itis被省略。

）

例：

Ifnecessary，Iwilldoit.

如果有必要的话，我来做此事。

五、原因状语从句

24．主句＋incase＋从句。

例：

Iwilltakemyraincoatincaseitrains.

我要把雨衣带上以防下雨。

25．主句＋dueto/becauseof/owningto/＋thefactthat＋从句。

例：

Hedidnotcometoschoolbecauseofthefactthathewasill.

由于病了，他没来学校。

六、时间状语从句

26．When/While/As＋从句＋主句。

例：

WhenIwasinthecountry，Iusedtocarrysomewaterforyou.

当我在农村时，我常常给你打水。

27．主句＋after/before＋从句。

例：

（1）Theyhadn'tbeenmarriedfourmonthsbeforetheyweredivorced.

他们结婚不到四个月就离婚了。

（2）Wewenthomeafterwehadfinishedthework.

我们做完工作就回家了。

28．主语＋肯定谓语＋until＋从句。

例：

Iworkeduntilhecameback.

我一直工作到他回来。

请比较：

主语＋否定谓语＋until＋从句。

Ididn'tworkeduntilhecameback.

他回来我才开始工作。

29．Assoonas/Immediately/Directly/Instantly/Themoment/Theinstant/Theminute＋从句＋主句。

例：

MyfatherwentoutimmediatelyIgothome.

我一到家，我父亲就出去了。

30．Nosooner＋had＋主语＋done...than＋主语＋did。

＝主语＋had＋nosooner＋done...than＋主语＋did。

例：

NosoonerhadIgottoBeijingthanIcalledyou.

我一到北京就给你打电话了。

＝IhadnosoonergottoBeijingthanIcalledyou.

31．Hardly/Scarcely/Rarely＋had＋主语＋done...when/before＋主语＋did。

＝主语＋had＋hardly/Scarcely/Rarely＋done...when/before＋主语＋did。

例：

Hardlyhadshehadsupperwhenshewentout.

她一吃完晚饭就出去了。

＝Shehadhardlyhadsupperwhenshewentout.

32．Bythetime＋从句＋主句。

例：

（1）Bythetimeyoucameback，Ihadfinishedthisbook.

到你回来时，我已经写完了这本书。

（2）Bythetimeyoucomeback，Iwillhavefinishedthisbook.

到你回来时，我将写完这本书了。

33．Each/evertime＋从句＋主句。

（相当于whenever或nomatterwhen引导的从句。

从句也可放在主句之后）

例：

EachtimehecomestoHarbin，healwaysdropsinonme.

他每次来哈尔滨，总会来看我。

七、地点状语从句

34．Where＋从句＋主句。

例：

Wherethereisnorain，farmingisdifficultorimpossible.

没有雨水的地方，种庄稼是很难的或者是不可能的。

35．Anywhere/Wherever＋从句＋主句。

例：

（1）AnywhereIgo，mywifegoestoo.

无论我去哪儿，我的妻子也跟着去。

（2）Iwillgowhereveryousuggest.

你建议我去哪儿，我就去哪儿。

八、目的状语从句

36．主句＋inorderthat/sothat＋从句。

例：

IgotupearlyinorderthatIcouldcatchthefirstbus.

我早早地起床是为了赶上早班车。

37．主句＋forsb.＋todo。

（动词不定式复合结构作目的状语）

例：

Hecamehereformetoworkoutthisproblem.

他来这儿叫我帮他解出这道难题。

九、结果状语从句

38．主句＋sothat＋从句。

例：

Itwasverycold，sothattheriverfroze.

天气很冷，因此河水结冰了。

39．So＋形容词/副词＋特定动词（助动词或系动词）＋主语＋that＋从句。

例：

SointerestingisthisbookthatIwouldliketoreaditagain.

这本书如此有趣，我想再读一遍。

40.主语＋谓语＋such＋名词＋that＋从句。

例：

Hemadesuchrapidprogressthathewaspraisedbytheteacher.

他取得如此巨大的进步，以至于老师表扬了他。

41．Suchwas＋主语＋that＋从句。

（注意这是个完全倒装句）

例：

Suchwastheforceoftheexplosionthatallthewindowswerebroken.

爆炸力这么大，所有的窗户都被震碎了。

42．主句＋only＋todosth.。

（only和动词不定式一起做结果状语）

例：

Iwokeupverylateonlytofindthatmywifehadgonetowork.

我醒得很晚，结果发现我的妻子已经上班了。

十、比较状语从句

43．The＋形容词比较级……the＋形容词比较级＋……

例：

Thesooneryoudoit，thebetteritwillbe.

越早越好。

44．主语＋谓语＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋被比较的对象。

例：

Heisasbusyasabee.

他非常忙。

45.主语＋谓语＋the＋形容词比较级＋of/between……

例：

Heisthetallerofthetwo.

他们俩人中他高。

46．主语＋谓语＋倍数＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋被比较的对象。

例：

Thisroomisthreetimesaslargeasthatone.

这个房间是那个房间的三倍大。

（这个房间比那个房间大两倍。

）

47．主语＋谓语＋百分数/倍数＋形容词比较级＋than＋被比较的对象。

例：

（1）Thiscityistwicelargerthanours.

这个城市比我们城市大两倍。

（2）Theearlyriceoutputin2008was200%morethanthatof2001.

2008年的早稻产量是2001年的两倍。

48．主语十谓语＋thesize/length/width/height＋of＋被比较的对象。

例：

Ourbuildingistwicetheheightofyours.

我们的大楼是你们大楼的两倍高。

十一、其他句型

49．Itdoesn'tmatterwh＋从句。

例：

（1）Itdoesn'tmattertomewhatyouwilldotomorrow.

你明天做什么与我无关。

（2）Itdoesn'tmatterwhetheryouwillcomeornot.

你来不来无关紧要。

50．形容词/副词/名词（可数单数）＋as/though＋主语＋谓语＋主句。

例：

（1）Youngasheis，heknowsalot.

虽然他很小，但他知道得很多。

（2）Hardasheworks，Iamsurethathecan'tpassthisexam.

虽然他努力学习，但我确定他不能通过这次考试。

51.Were/Should/Had十主语＋谓语＋主句。

例：

WereIyou，Iwouldhavegonethereyesterday.

如果我是你，我昨天就去那里了。

52．Only＋状语＋特定动词＋主语＋谓语……

例：

OnlythendidIrealizethatIhadbeenwrong.

只有那时我才意识到我错了。

53．Whether...or.../neither...nor.../either...or...

例：

Whetherhewillcomeornotisn'timportant.

他来不来不重要。

54．主语＋doubt＋whether...

＝主语＋否定词＋doubt＋that...

例：

Idon'tdoubtthathewillcometomorrow.

我确信他明天会来。
