Humboldtsetaworldrecordformountainclimbing.Healsomadeadiscovery.Duringhisclimb,Humboldtbecameverysick.Hefoundoutthatthehigherheclimbed,thelessoxygentherewasintheair.Thismadeitmoredifficulttobreathe.Later,thisbecameknownasmountainsickness.
