Modernlogisticsinvolvesalargenumberofcomplexproductsandthesupplychainstructureisextremelycomplexwithalargegeographicalspan,sotheaccuracyandtimelinessofinformationrequirementsareveryhigh.Relevantsurveydateshowthetimeadistributioncenterspentannuallyonartificialcountingbarcodeandscanningonthegoodsupto11000hours.RFIDtechnologyovercomesthedefectsofthebarcodebyprocessingautomationtoprovidereal-timedataforthesupplychain.AccordingtotheanalysisoftheuseofRFID,WAL-MARTcansave$8350000000peryear,mostofwhichisthehumancostofbarcodescanning.Inaddition,RFIDcansolvetheproblemofretailgoodsoutofstock,theftandlosscausedbydisturbedsupplychainandWAL-MARTlose$2billionduetothefteachyear.

ThecharacteristicsoftheRFIDistosendinformationthroughradiowaveswithoutspacelimitation,objectstrackinganddataexchangecanbequicklyprocessed.TheRFIDtagwitha"reader"effectiveworkingdistanceisuptotensofmetersorevenhundredsofmeters.RFIDcancollectinformationwithoutcontactundervariousconditions(highspeedmobileorstationary)long-rangetarget(object,equipment,vehiclesandpersonnel)andthenprocessautomaticidentificationandautomaticmanagement.BecauseRFIDtechnologyeliminatesthemanualinterventionintheprocessoftracking,itcansavealotofmanpowerandgreatlyimprovetheworkefficiency,soithasgreatappealforlogisticsandsupplychainmanagement.

ThebiggestadvantageofRFIDisnon-contactwirelesstwo-waycommunication,soitcanrealizebatchreading,remotereadingandidentifyhigh-speedmovingobjects.RFIDcangreatlysimplifytheinventorymanagementandmeetthedemandofincreasinginformationflowandinformationprocessingspeedincreasing.

RFIDtechnologyisarevolutionaryknownasthe"onlinerevolution"anditcanmakeawirelessconnectiontotheInternetforallitems.Intheforeseeableperiodoftime,RFIDtagswillbedevelopedwithahighspeed,andcoexistedwithbarcodeinlong-term.

Withthefurtherdevelopmentofeconomicglobalizationandinternationaltradesanditsefficient,convenientandsafecharacteristics,Containertransportationbecomesanimportantformofmoderntransportation.After"9.11"terroristevent,inordertopreventterroristgroupsfromusingtheshiptocarrymassdestructionweaponsandterroriststoentertheUnitedStates,TheU.S.governmentcontinuouslystrengthenitsportandshippingsecuritymeasures.Asaresult,therapiddevelopmentofthetechnologyofelectronicsealsisstronglystimulated.

Howtoefficientlymanagetoparkthecontainerintheportandensurethesafetyofthecontainerinthetransportprocessbecomesaprobleminmanyharborcompany.Traditionalcontainermanagementmainlydependsonartificialmanagement,inthemanualorsemiartificialstate,theefficiencyisquitelow.Moderncontainermanagementurgentlyneedareal-timerecordforboxes,goodsandinformation,recordingopenandclosetimeandgeographicinformationofelectroniclabel,soastoenhancetheoveralllevelofthecontainerlogistics.ContainerRFIDapplicationenvironmentisverycomplex,technicaldifficulty,varioustechnicalindicators,functionalrequirements,technicalrequirementswhichisfargreaterthanordinaryelectronictag.Thesafetyandreliabilityofthecontainerelectroniclabeltoisstrictrequired.WithGPRStechnologyofanewgenerationofreusableelectronictags,RFIDelectronicsealperfectlysolvesthisproblem.Electronictagsinputboxes,goodsandotherdata,andsendtothedatacenterthroughwirelessLAN,sothatcompanycanconductallthereal-timeonlinemonitoringofcontainer,andallthenodesofcontainerlogisticschaincanbequeriedthroughthelogisticsinformationsystematanytimeinthewebsite.Legalandillegalopentimeofthecontainerandplaceareaccuratelyrecordedandreal-timelydisplayedonthewebsite,includingcontainerinformation,loading/discharginginformation,boxesinformation,opening/closingtime,location,status,andlogisticsinformation.Atthesametime,theinformationcanbetransferredtobackgroundmanagementsystemfaraway,andyoucanlogontothesystemplatformtotrackthestatusofacontaineranywhereintheworld.

2.1.1Packingpoints:

Thehandheldreaderapplicationdevicefirstinitializethetag,anditwillwritethetagnumber,containernumber,nameandotherinputgoodstothelabelandselectGPSlocation.Thenitwillclosethedoorofecontainer,hungelectronictaganddynamicinformationandfinallysubmittotheserver.

2.1.2PortImport/Appearancescrossing:

Awhentheelectronictaghangingcontainertruckinto/outtheAppearancescrossingchannel,themachinewhichisinstalledinfixedcrossingapproachwillautomaticallyreadelectronictag,thenallthesecurityandlogisticsdynamicinformationwillbeuploadedtotheserver,atthesametimethelogisticsinformationwillbedisplayedinhomepage.Thisprocessistoconfirmthesecuritystatusofanelectronictag(whetherthedoorisopenedorclosedillegally,ifitis,thesystemalarminformationtofacilitatehair/consigneetracing).

B,accordingtotheContainernumber,itcanobtainfromtheserverEDIelectronicpackinglistdata,andpartoftheEDIdatawillberecordedtothelabel,whilethedynamicinformationsecurityandlogisticswillbeuploadedtotheserver.

A,atinspectionpoints,Customsconfirmthesecuritystatusofthecontainer,authorizationtoopenthelabel,thelabelpulledthesteelboltonthedoorofthebox,timeandlocationinformationboxdoorautomaticallyrecordedintothetag,anduploadtheinformationtodynamicserver,logisticsinformationisdisplayedonthepage.
