Doyouknowthenameofthethreemostfamousdrinksintheworld?

Theyaretea,coffeeandcocoa.Chinaisthehomelandofteawhichhasbecomethenationaldrink.Inotherwords,teaisbasicallyspreadoutfromChina.ReferringtoChineseteaculture,ithasseveralthousandyearsofhistoryandcanbetracedbacktotheancienttimes.ThenitwasflourishedintheTangdynastyandtheSongdynasty.

Atfirst,ourancientsfoundteamakethemexcited,buttheythoughtthatdrinkingmorewouldbedestructivetothemorals.Astimewentby,teabecamepopularamonglikemindedpeople,Confucianism,Taoism,Buddhismandcultivationculture.UntilTangDynasty,teaculturebegantakingshape.WhenitcametoSongDynasty,teaculturebecamethriving.Whenpeoplemigrated,theywouldoffertea.Whenpeopleengaged,theywouldsendtea.Whenpeoplegotmarried,theywouldsettletea.Teabecameanimportantpartintheirdailylife.

Inchina,themainvarietiesofteaaregreentea,blacktea,Oolongtea,scentedtea,whitetea,yellowteaanddarktea.Intheearlydays,theChineseboiledtheirtealeaveswithwaterandotheringredientssuchassaltandginger;latertheygroundthedriedleavestoapowderandwhippedthemupwithhotwater.ItwasnotuntilthatMingDynastythatitbecamecommonpracticetoinfusetheloosetealeavesinhotwaterinteapots,andthentopourtheinfusedliquidintobowlstodrink.Nowadays,wemakedifferentteaindifferentparticularways.Overthecenturies,Chinadevelopedanextraordinaryteaculture,comparablewiththewinecultureoftheWest.

Teanotonlyhasagoodflavorbutalsobenefittoourbody,soitislovedbymanypeoplehomeandabroad.Differentkindsofteahavedifferentfunctionwhichmakesacontributiontoourhealth.Forexample,thenationaldrinkofChina-greentea,candispeltheeffectsofalcohol,clearawaysummer-heat,refreshyourselfandwhitenyourskin.Thesecondlargestkindoftea-blacktea,canwarmyourstomach,begoodforyourheartandmakeyourbonesstronger.Darkteacanrefreshyouinthemorning,reduceyourbloodpressandhelploseweight.OolongTeaisgoodforyourbodybuildinganddieting.Inall,teahavegreatmedicinalvalue,anti-cancer,loweringbloodpressure,improvingeyesightandrestrainingdisease,reducingstressandsoon.

Teacultureanditsdevelopmentreflectnotonlydietculture,butalsoChinesespiritualfeatures.

Chinaisacountrywithatime-honoredcivilizationandalandofceremonyanddecorum.Wheneverguestsvisit,itisnecessarytomakeandserveteatothem.Beforeservingtea,youmayaskthemfortheirpreferencesastowhatkindofteatheyfancyandservethemtheteainthemostappropriateteacups.Inthecourseofservingtea,thehostshouldtakecarefulnoteofhowmuchwaterisremaininginthecupsandinthekettle.Usually,iftheteaismadeinateacup,boilingwatershouldbeaddedafterhalfofthecuphasbeenconsumed;andthusthecupiskeptfilledsothatthetearetainsthesamebouquetandremainspleasantlywarm.

TeacultureplaysanindispensableroleinpromotingtheinternationalculturalexchangebetweenChinaandothercountries,enrichingChineseculturallifeandpromotingChinesespiritualcivilizationconstruction.

Inconclusion,teacultureisoneoftheessencesofChinesecultureinthehistory.Thespiritofteapermeatesthecourtandsociety,intotheChinesepoetry,painting,calligraphy,religion,medicine.ForthousandsofyearsChinahasnotonlyaccumulatedagreatdealaboutteacultivation,productionofmaterialculture,butalsoaccumulatedrichspiritoftheteaculture,whichisuniquetoChina'steaculture.
