一、教学设计说明:
1、本单元的阅读部分围绕一群中学生讨论设计自己学校的校报展开。
多数学生有过办墙报或小报纸的经历,可以从学生自己的经验出发引导学生对文章进行整体理解。
文章内容和学生的生活有一定的联系,因此在引导学生理解文章的同时,也可以知道学生一起办一份自己的英语报纸,以激发学生的学习兴趣。
本科的核心词汇和词组包括:
suggest,votefor,elect,chiefeditor等。
2、9A第一学期所有chapter的阅读部分都是通过学生办报中的一些事情引出的,因此本Chapter在衔接两册书上起了很重要的作用,学好本篇课文也为了初三的英语学习打下一定的基础。
3、本课的任务有两个:
1)对课文进行整体阅读。
培养学生略读、细读等阅读能力。
2)结合课文,引导学生自己设计一份英语报纸,提高他们对于与英语的兴趣并培养学生综合使用英语的能力。
4、本章节是语言运用部分。
通过对学生听、说、写方面的训练,提高学生语言词汇方面的能力,加强他们运用语言知识来表达思想感情的能力。
5、本章节语法知识点主要学习should和oughtto,章节分为两部分,第一部分要求学生学会使用should和oughtto表达什么是应该做的和不该做的,并学会should和oughtto的否定和疑问形式。
第二部分要求学生运用should和oughtto来纠正别人的错误。
二、教学目标:

学习课文中重点词、词组、句型和语法。
2能力目标:
提高学生的阅读理解能力和培养学生阅读中略读、细读等技巧。
3情感目标:
让通过指导学生自己办报,培养学生合作学习的能力,提高学生在生活中运用英语的兴趣。
