businessesshuttered.Ourhealthcareistoocostly;

ourschoolsfailtoomany;

andeachdaybringsfurtherevidencethatthewaysweuseenergystrengthenouradversariesandthreatenourplanet.现在我们都深知，我们身处危机之中。

我们的国家在战斗，对手是影响深远的暴力和憎恨；

18Noristhequestionbeforeuswhetherthemarketisaforceforgoodorill.Itspowertogeneratewealthandexpandfreedomisunmatched,butthiscrisishasremindedusthatwithoutawatchfuleye,themarketcanspinoutofcontrol-andthatanationcannotprosperlongwhenitfavorsonlytheprosperous.ThesuccessofoureconomyhasalwaysdependednotjustonthesizeofourGrossDomesticProduct,butonthereachofourprosperity;

onourabilitytoextendopportunitytoeverywillingheart-notoutofcharity,butbecauseitisthesurestroutetoourcommongood.我们面临的问题也不是市场好坏的问题。
