In1999,ProfessorWeinbergerputtherecordingsonline.TheSpeechAccentArchiveisforanyonewhowantstocompareandanalyzetheaccentsofdifferentEnglishspeakers.

Somepeoplethinkthearchivewouldbebetterifitincludednaturalspeech-peopletalkingfreely,notjustreadingthesamewords.ProfessorWeinbergerrecognizesthestrengthsandweaknessesofhissite.

ProfessorWeinbergersaysthesitegetsamillionvisitsamonthandwouldlikemorepeopletosendintheirownsamplesofthesixty-nine-wordparagraph.
