   ThenBrunswickwastenmiles,andthenfive.Then,suddenly,alloftheyoungpeoplewereupoutoftheirseats,screamingandshoutingandcrying,doingsmalldancesofjoy.AllexceptVingo.

   Vingosattherestunned,lookingattheoaktree.Itwascoveredwithyellowhandkerchiefs,20ofthem,and30ofthem,maybehundreds,andatreethatstoodlikeabannerofwelcomebillowinginthewind.Astheyoungpeopleshouted,theoldconroseandmadehiswaytothefrontofthebusandgoinghome.

2.人生如河流

Whethersixtyorsixteen,thereisineveryhumanbeing'

sheartthelureofwonders,theunfailingchildlikeappetiteofwhat'

snextandthejoyofthegameofliving.Inthecenterofyourheartandmyheartthereisawirelessstation:

3.Eyescanspeak-眼睛会说话

Muchmeaningcanbeconveyed,clearly,withoureyes,soitisoftensaidthateyescanspeak.

Doyouhavesuchkindofexperience?

Inabusyoumaylookatstranger,butnottoolong.Andifheissensingthatheisbeingstaredat,hemayfeeluncomfortable.

Thesameindailylife.Ifyouarelookedatformorethannecessary,youwilllookatyourselfupanddown,toseeifthereisanythingwrongwithyou.Ifnothinggoeswrong,youwillfeelangrytowardother’sstarewithyouthatway.Eyesdospeak,right?

theyradiateit.Theyjustliveouttheirjoyandletitsplashitssunlightandglowintootherlivesasnaturallyasbirdsings.

Wecannevergetitbyworkingforitdirectly.Itcomes,likehappiness,tothosewhoareaimingatsomethinghigher.Itisabyproductofgreat,simpleliving.Thejoyoflivingcomesfromwhatweputintoliving,notfromwhatweseektogetfromit.

5.LoveandTime爱和时间

Onceuponatime,therewasanislandwhereallthefeelingslived:

Happiness,Sadness,Knowledge,andalloftheothers,includingLove.Onedayitwasannouncedtothefeelingsthattheislandwouldsink,soallconstructedboatsandleft.ExceptforLove.

Lovewastheonlyonewhostayed.Lovewantedtoholdoutuntilthelastpossiblemoment.Whentheislandhadalmostsunk,Lovedecidedtoaskforhelp.

RichnesswaspassingbyLoveinagrandboat.Lovesaid,

“Richness,canyoutakemewithyou?

Richnessanswered,“No,Ican'

t.Thereisalotofgoldandsilverinmyboat.Thereisnoplacehereforyou.”

LovedecidedtoaskVanitywhowasalsopassingbyinabeautifulvessel.“Vanity,pleasehelpme!

“Ican'

thelpyou,Love.Youareallwetandmightdamagemyboat,”Vanityanswered.

SadnesswasclosebysoLoveasked,“Sadness,letmegowithyou.”

“Oh...Love,IamsosadthatIneedtobebymyself!

HappinesspassedbyLove,too,butshewassohappythatshedidnotevenhearwhenLovecalledher.

6.TheAppleTree

Alongtimeago,therewasahugeappletree.Alittleboylovedtocomeandlayarounditeveryday.Heclimbedtothetreetop,atetheapples,tookanapundertheshadow...Helovedthetreeandthetreelovedtoplaywithhim.

Timewentby...thelittleboyhadgrownupandhenolongerplayedaroundthetreeeveryday.Oneday,theboycamebacktothetreeandhelookedsad.“Comeandplaywithme,”thetreeaskedtheboy.“Iamnolongerakid,Idon’tplayaroundtreesanymore.”Theboyreplied,“Iwanttoys.Ineedmoneytobuythem.”“Sorry,butIdon’thavemoney...butyoucanpickallmyapplesandsellthem.So,youwillhavemoney.”Theboywassoexcited.Hegrabbedalltheapplesonthetreeandlefthappily.Theboynevercamebackafterhepickedtheapples.Thetreewassad.
