与人们对亚洲人不擅长体育运动的刻板印象相反，鲍勃本人是运动天神的化身。
小学二年级的时候他从来不愿意在椅子上安静地坐着，他不能控制自己不断地站起来在教室里跑来跑去。
毫无意外地，他后来成长为N.C.A.A（美国大学体育总会）长曲棍球冠军队的一员。
他还是一位耐克赞助的马拉松运动员，50多岁在没有向导的情况下登上了珠穆朗玛峰。
可是我的家人们从未观看过他的长曲棍球比赛。
我们的确观看过他的马拉松比赛，但那时他已经20多岁了。
