摘要

《怦然心动》是由美国著名导演罗伯.莱纳导演，根据美国著名儿童作家文德林.范.德拉安南的同名小说改编的电影。

该影片讲述朱莉对布莱斯一见钟情、怦然心动而又相互抗拒的故事，表达了他对人自我成长和爱情观的思考。

本文旨在分析两主角的爱情观：

朱莉坚强、执着的爱情观以及布莱斯既胆怯又勇敢地爱情观,进而分析他们爱情观形成的原因.从而让读者对初恋有更深刻的理解、对如何对待爱情有一些启示。

Abstract

ThemovieFlippedwasadaptedfromanovelwrittenbyWendelin.Van.DraanenwhowasafamousscenaristandchildrenauthorinAmericaanddirectedbyRob.Reinerwhowasafamousdirector,actorandscenaristinAmerica.ThemovietoldastorythatJulifellinlovewithBryceatfirstsightandflipped,buttheymutuallyshutout.Themovieexpressedthedirectortothinkofthegrowthofhumanandloveview.ThepurposeofthethesisisthatanalyzesofloveviewofJuli,whichwasbravenessandperseverance,andloveviewofBrycethatwastimorousnessandbravenessandthereasonsthattheirloveviewformed.Sothenreadercanhavedeeperunderstandingoffirstloveandsomeenlightenmentthathowtotreatlove.

ThefilmFlippedwasadaptedfromanovelwrittenbyWendelin.Van.Draanen.Shewasbornin1965.Shewasascenaristandchildren'sauthor.Shewasborninapoorfamily,andherparentswerefanaticalliteraryenthusiasts.Asachild,shedidnothavesnacksandtoys.Thisestablishedfoundationforwritingnovel.HerrepresentativeworkswereSammyKeyesseriesandShreddermanRules.SammyKeyesisaseriesofmysterynovelswrittenbyWendelinVanDraanenforchildrenaged9–15.TheseriesfocusesonSammy'sadventuresasanamateursleuth.Thebooks,whicharenarratedinthefirst-personperspectivebySammy,involvedetectivefictionaswellascomedy.Sammybeginsheradventuresinthefirstbookasaseventh-grader,andtheserieswillendwhenshecompletesthetwelfthgrade.Eighteenbooksareplannedfortheseries.SammyKeyesandtheHotelThiefwonthe1998EdgarAwardforBestChildren'sMystery.

FlippedwasdirectedbyRob.Reiner.Hewasbornin1947.Andhewasadirector,actorandscenarist.Hehadthenameofbusinessdirector.HebecamefamousforThisIsSpinalTap.HisrepresentativeworkAFewGoodMenwasnominatedasAcademyAwardforBestPicture.Rob.ReinerexpressedtolifebyTheBucketListin2007.Afterthreeyears,heexpressedtogrowthandlovebyFlipped.CallanMcAuliffe（Bryce）andMadelineCarroll（Juli）werethemainperformers.Themovietoldastoryaboutfirstloveofyoungboyandgirlbydoublescenes.BrycewasborninarichfamilybutJuliwaspoor.Bryce’sfamilyremovedtonearbyJuli’shouse.JuliwasflippedwhenshemetBryceatfirsttime.Andshechasedhimfervently,butBrycetreatedfrigidlybecausehewasinfluencedbyBryce’sfather.JulikeptchickensinthebackyardafterasciencecompetitionandsentsomeeggstoBryce.BrycethrewawayeggsasrubbishesbecausehisfatherdespisedJuli’syard.JulilikedtostayonthesycamoretoseesceneryandinvitedtoBrycetogether,butBrycerefusedher.Aftereggstrouble,sycamorething,BrycebegantofallinlovewithJuli.Afterbasketboyauction,BryceexpressedhislovetoJuli.Attheendofthemovie,theyfellinlove.

ThepurposeandsignificanceofstudyisthatanalyzesofloveviewofJuliandBryceandanalyzesthereasonswhytheirloveviewformed.Therearefourchaptersinthisthesis.Chapteronegivesageneralintroduction;chaptertwoistheliteraturereviewwhichstudiesofloveviewandFlipped,andcommentsonthemovieofFlipped.StudiesofFlippedisfromtranslationperspective,valuesperspectiveandsymbolicsignificance.ChapterthreeanalyzesofloveviewofJuliandBryceandanalyzesthereasonswhytheirloveviewcameintobeing.Chapterfouristheconclusion.

Loveistheeternalthemeofhumanity.Everyonehastherighttopursueloveandhappiness.Inthischapter,thepaperaimstoshowabriefintroductiontothedefinitionofloveviewandresearchesofloveviewandFlipped.Accordingtothepapers,researchesonloveviewintheFlippedarelimited.

2.1Relatedstudiesofloveview

Sofar,thereisnospecificdefinitionofloveview.Authorjustfoundsomesimplestudies.Loveviewisreflectionoftheoutlookonlife.Loveviewindifferenttimesisdifferentcontentsbecauseitwasinfluencedbyeconomiccondition,socialsystemandculture.Withthedevelopmentofsociety,theloveviewalsochanged.Characteristicsofmodernlovearebasedonthecommonidealandgoalofbothmenandwomen.Characteristicsofmodernloveareloyalty,commentaryandstrongpersistence .

Researchesonloveviewabroadexploretheessenceofloveasthecuttingpoint,studyingfromthetypeoflove,lovebeingthefoundationofmarriage,predestinedrelationship,romanticattitude,loveexpressionetc.Amongthem,itisfocalpointtostudyfromthetypeoflove.Scholarsthinkthatloveisaromanticrelationshipinpeople'sattitudetowardsloveandisareflectionofpeopleloveviews.

Freudstudiedoflovesincethe1930s.Scholarshavebeendevotedthemselvestoexploretheessenceoflovefromdifferentpoints.Loveisacomplexphenomenathatisaffectedbysocialfactorspsychologicalandsubjectivefeeling.Therefore,FehrandRussellbelievedthattheconceptoflovewastoocomplextobedefined.（Fehr,1991）

KnoxandSporakowskithinkthattheromanticloveandrealisticlovearethetwobasicattitudesoflove.Romanticlovehappensonceinalifetime.Romanticloveisloveatfirstsightandthesolecriterionofmarriage.Realismloveistheoppositeofromanticloveandcalm,reliableandthatcangivemorecomfortlove.（D.H.Knox,1968）HatfieldandWalstethinkthatloveisdividedintocompanion-ateloveandpassionatelove.Afteraseriesofstudiesareconsideredisoneofthemostbasicclassification.（Hatfield,1978）Leeputlovewasdividedintomainmodeandthesecondarymode.Mainmodeincludes:

eros,ludus,storge.Thesecondarymodeincludes:

pragama,mania,agape.Thesecondarymodewasmadebythemainmodeofthreetypesoflovetwocombination,thatisstorgeandludusformofpragama；erosandludusformofmania；erosandstorgeformofagape.（J.A.Lee,1973）

Sternbergputtriangulartheoryoflove.Hethinksthatloveconsistsofintimacy,passionandcommitmentthreecomponents.（R.J.Sternberg,1986）Thedifferentcombinationofthreeelementsformedeightdifferentlove,like（onlyintimacy）,obsessivelove（onlypassion）,emptylove（onlycommitment）,romanticlove（intimacyandpassion）,friendshiplove（intimacyandcommitment）,fatuouslove（passionandcommitment,asloveatfirstsight）,consummatelove（intimacyandpassionandcommitment,loveless（withoutthreeelements）.

Loveviewmeansthepeople’sfundamentalviewsandattitudestoloveandmarriageproblems,andit`simpotentpartsofoutlookonlife.Itsmajorcontentsincluding:

whatislove,theessenceoflove,lovepositionsinsocietylifeandpersonallife,standardsofchoosingspouse,howtotreatlovelornetc.（Luo,2009）

Researchesonloveviewathomewasreflectedbyliteraryworks.However,lessresearchesrefertochildishlove.LiuPingputtheloveviewunderthefeminineprinciplesight.Theactualstatuswhichwomenarehumiliatedanddamagedandthebrutalstrugglewhenlovedidnotexist.Theobeyandeliminationtomen
