大型山水实景演出《印象西湖》由著名中国导演张艺谋执导、日本音乐家喜多郎主创音乐，偶像派歌星张靓颖主唱。
当夜幕低垂时，彩色的灯光覆照湖上，山和水便成了背景。
这一都市的户外演出是以自然环境为舞台布景。
完全以西湖的水面作为舞台（低于水面达3公分），以西湖传说白蛇传为根据，“印象西湖”用灯光、音乐、歌声、舞蹈、舞台效果共同创造了一个视听盛宴。
演出借助高科技手法再造“西湖雨”，从一个侧面反映雨中西湖和西湖之雨的自然神韵。
“西湖这个文化图腾所能引发的多重想象太多”。
张艺谋说，每一个“印象”，可以多重解读，无法固定表达，不可名状。
于是导演组决定用写意的手法，不尝试讲述一个具体的、完备的故事，只是用一系列的瞬间片段，可能是一场烟雨、一把绢伞、一片荷叶，把一些独特符号合理化运用，表达一种可以多重阐释并且富有意象性的感觉。

西递坐落于黄山市黟县，有124栋保存完好的民居和3个祠堂，它们均建于明清两代。
胡文光刺史牌楼醒目地立于村头，用以旌表村中走出的高官胡文光，胡文光曾在明朝任胶州刺史、荆藩首相。
村中房屋均饰以木雕，砖雕，反映了当地深厚的文化传统和风俗。
西递以清幽的环境被称为“桃花源里人家”，也因其保存完好的明清时代的房屋、祠堂和牌楼被誉为“古代民居建筑的宝库”。
西递村作为一处历史文化景观，2000年被联合国教科文组织列入世界文化遗产名录。

花山谜窟
距离屯溪12公里的花山谜窟于2000年对游客开放。
在这块不大的山丘区域，发现有36个大大小小的人工洞穴。
其中一小部分（35号窟、2号窟、24号窟）被开发为旅游观光景点。
由于没有任何相关的历史文献记载，对于开凿这些巨大人口石窟的起因和意图仍留下许多疑问和谜团。
每位探究谜窟的游客都会各自的观点和看法。
根据洞窟中钟乳石的沉积长度，专家推算出这些洞窟开凿于晋朝之前，也即1700年前。
到底是谁开凿的？
为何而开凿？
为了屯兵还是储粮？
是采石场还是帝陵？
或许是安徽的一处没完工的“莫高窟”？
如果是用于屯兵储粮或是古人居住之所，这里确实秘密安全，然而如何解决潮湿问题呢？
如果是个采石场，为何不在露天采石？
至今仍有加工好的石材留在洞穴中，而把数吨重的石材运出洞穴也确实困难。
所有这些疑问让石窟成为一个谜，让人难以明白。
