First,copyingpapersfromtheInternetmakesstudentslazy.CopyingpapersfromtheInternetseemseasyandcansavesometimeandtrouble,therefore,studentswilldothismoreandmoreoftenandseldomworkhardtocompletetheirpapersontheirown.Inotherwords,studentswillbecomelazierandlazier.Second.studentscanlearnlittlefromcopyingothers’work.StudentscannotimprovetheirabilitiesjustbydownloadingpapersfromtheInternetwithouttheirownthinkingandworking.What’sworse,oncestudentsgetusedtoacademiccheating,theymayalsocheatinothercasesinthefuture,whichwillbeverydangerousforthem．

Topreventacademicdishonestyoncampus,somepunishmentbytheschoolmaybenecessary.Butthemostimportantthingisthatteachersshouldtalktothosestudents,andmakethemawareofthefactthatcopyingothers’workcannotbringthemanyknowledgeandthatonlybyworkinghardcantheyimprovethemselves.
