ThenewsystemwouldstillfollowChina’shigh—speedrailwaystandard.Andthetrainswouldbeabletogo346kilometersanhour,almostasfastassomeairplanes.

World’sfastestaveragespeed.Itcovers1,069kilometersinaboutthreehours.
