Asispointedout,thepracticeofeuthanasiacanbenefitforboththepatientandhisorherfamily.Itiscertainthatnopaindeathisthebetterrelieftotheincurredpeople,justlikeawomanhasthecancer,thedeathisahappyreleaseforher,thenopaindeathisthebestendtoher.Toaterminallyillpersonwhoissufferingfromexcruciatingpainsdayandnight,daybyday,yearbyyear,orliving“likeavegetable”,tobeallowedtoendhislife,painlesslyisagoodrelease.Itcanhelphimgetoutofthedeepdarkcave.Tohisfamily,itisalsoabigreliefconsideringthefinancialandemotionaldrainonthemthathavingtosustainhislifeentails.

Howeverthelegalizationofeuthanasiamayalsobringwithitsproblemsoursocietyhasnotpreviousfaced.Isithumane,forexample,thataterminallyillpeopleisthuscausedtofeelguiltyforremainingalivebecausehedoesnotwanttodie?

andisthereapossibilitythateuthanasiacouldbetakenadvantageofforsomeulteriororevencriminalpurposes.

Sincethelegalizationofeuthanasiaisconcernedaboutthemoralandsocialissues,thedecisionofsocietymakeabouteuthanasiawillundoubtedlyandabsolutelyhavegreatconsequencesinsociety.
