【Abstract】:

JaneEyreisthemasterpieceofCharlotteBronte,afamousBritishwomanwriterinthe19thcentury.ItmainlytellstheheroineJaneEyreOrdinaryandadmirablelife.JaneEyreisamirrorofmodernwomen,shehassuccessfullyshapedapatriarchalsocietyinthedesireforindependence,freedomandequality,thecouragetofight,thepursuitofspiritualindependenceofthenewfemaleimage,ThispaperanalyzesthefrustratingeventsfromyoungtooldexperiencesfromJane.Everyblowdidnotbreakherdown,butlethermoresenseofresistance,thepursuitofeconomicindependenceandequallove.ThisArticlefromthethirdpersonperspectiveoftheworkoffeministinterpretation.

ChapterOneIntroduction

Nomorethanfiveyears,Ipickedup"JaneEyre"again,Ihavetoadmitthatdifferentfeelingcapturesmyheart.IwasajuniorhighschoolstudentwhenIreadJaneEyreforthefirsttime.WordsfailmysurprisewhenIfindthat9yearshavepassed.Asayoungadult,IcanbetterunderstandtheiractionsespeciallyJane’sIalsodeepentheimpressionofwhyJaneEyrecanbelovedbypeoplefromallovertheworld.Justastheslanggose:

whenyouread"JaneEyre",alltheromancenovelscanbecountedasablinkofanturn.BecauseJanetellsusnotonlyhowtochaseafterlovebutalsohowwewomencanfightagainstfateandsocialoppression.thereisnodoubtthatagreatworld-famousmasterpieceincludesnotonlythelovebetweencouples,theydefinitelyalsoexposethedarksideofthegenerationandsocialconflict.

Lifeistooshorttobebraveenoughtohate.Inlife,anyonewillhavemistakes,butwewilldiesoon.Oursinswilldisappearwithourbodies,leavingonlythesparkofspirit.That'swhyIneverwantedrevengeandneverthoughtlifewasunfair.Myquietlife,waitingfortheendofthecoming.It'soneofmyfavoritewordsinJaneEyre,andoneofthemostminimalist.

Janehasbeenexperiencingcontemptanddifferentialtreatmentsinceshewasachild,butsheisstillpassionateaboutlife,stillgoodtoothers,andifsheisfullofhatred,lifewillbedark,weshouldbegrateful,sothateverydayoflifeisbeautiful.Frustrationstrikeisthedrivingforceofourgrowth,heistheinevitableprocesstopromoteourgrowth.Runningwithtears,endurethepainmetamorphosis,thisisJanebroughtmethemostmeaningfulthings.Next,wewillanalyzehermetamorphosisfromthethreemostimpressivetypicalstories.

ChapterTwoExplorethegrowthoffeminism

2.1Havethesenseofstruggle,facethedarkLife

Jane’sparentsdiedwhenshewasachild.Therefore,shelivedintheuncle'shomeafterthismisfortune.Duringthistime,janehasbeensufferingbullying,abuse,discriminationfromherAunt、cousinandothers…...Tomypleasure,themiserablelifedidnotbringherdown.Instead,shebecamemoreandmorebraveundauntedbythedarkones,andwasbraveenoughtobuildherownvalues.Whensomechildrenisolatedher,sheshouted,"Theydon'tdeservetobewithme";whenshewaslockedupinthedarkroom,shemadean"unjust"cryfromtheheart;andwhenshespoketoherfriendHelen,shesaidunabashedlythatshewouldnevercompromisewithfate.Sothatshewillresistandstriveforself-esteem、freedomandequality.Jane'sspiritofresistance,atthattimeinthe19thcenturyinthehalfoftheVictorianperiod,isundoubtedlyrockyandvaluablenatureatthattimecausedtheentireliterarycirclesandeventheattentionofsocietyandgreatrepercussions.

Today,afterall,societyisprogressing,moreandmorewomenarefightingforthemselves,someofthemarebeginningtousethelawstoprotecttheirright.

Jane Eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. After we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, Jane Eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:

 

2.2Adheretoindependence,thepursuitofequalityforallintheworks

Janenotonlyhasthespiritoffemaleliberationandindependentpersonalityconsciousness,shehasanindependenteconomicbase."Youhavenorighttomoveourbooks,"saidcousinJohnReed,whowasangrywhenshesawherreadinginaleisurelybookasachild.“Momsaidyouarefedbyothers,youhavenomoney,yourfatherleftnothingforyou,youshouldgotobegforfood,cannotlivewithourgentleman'schildrenhere."Sincethen,Janehasrealizedthatonlybysupportingherselfandgainingeconomicindependencecansheaddressindependentequalityinhumandignity.AfterJanemetRochester,themostfamouspassagewasasfollows:

IsitbecauseIamdestitute,unknown,mediocre,andthin,thereisnosoul,noheart?

......Myheartisasfullasyours!

......Iamnotspeakingtoyouaccordingtocustom,routine,orevenfleshandblood,butmysoulistalkingtoyoursoul,asifthetwoofuswerewalkingthroughthegrave,standingatthefeetofGod,equaltoeachother--that'swhatitwas!

Thatisjane,anindependencewomanwhofirmlybelievesthateveryoneshouldbeequalityespeciallyinthespiritual.Sheisthelighthousethatshinesonposterityinlifeandchasesinlove.AsmygoddessEmmaWatsonnowsays,itisnotonlythegirlwhomarriestheprincewhocanbecalledtheprincess,butalsotheprincessourselves.Andeverygirlshouldbeabletobeindependentandnotdependonotherstosurvive.Whetherinfeelingsorordinarylife,weareallequal,andnooneissuperior.

2.3Thecouragetopursuelove,tomaintaintheirowndignity

sheisanindependentpersonandastronggirl,agirlwhodoesnotshakeherinnerthoughtswiththeoutsideworld,sheisthemorningmossonatouchofthesunwithoutdiscoloration.Shelongedforlove,forcare,forfreedom,butnotforthehandoutsandgivingofothers,eventhosesheloved.Theloveshelongedforwasalovebetweentwoindependentandequalmenandwomen,notoverlookingandalms.WhenJanelearnedthatRochesterhadafamilyandthatshefacedthechoiceofbeingastrangerwithoutbeingalover,sheresolutelychosetopreserveherdignity,nottobeaman'saccessory,toleaveThornfieldManorandteachinaprimaryschool.Perhapsreallyisthetroubletoseethetruth,inafire,Janereturnedtoherlove,shealwayspursuestheirowndominationofloveandlife,whatshewantsisamutualpersonalityandstatusofequallove,justlikewhenRochesteraskedherwhatshewanted,heranswer."Yourrespect,andIalsoreportitwithmyrespect,sothatweareclear."Actually,shewasnotpretty,andofcourse,theordinaryappearancedidn’tmakeothersfeelgoodofher,evenherownauntfeltdisgustedwithit.Andsomeotherseventhoughtthatshewaseasytolookdownonandtotease,sowhenMissIngrammetJaneEyre,sheseemedquitecontemptuous,forthatshewasobviouslymuchmoreprettierthantheplainanduglygoverness.Butasthelittlegovernesshadsaid:

“Doyouthink,becauseIampoor,obscure,plain,andlittle,Iamsoullessandheartless?

Youthinkwrong!

“ThisistheideaofequalityinJaneEyre’smind.Godhadn’tgivenherbeautyandwealth,butinstead,Godgaveherakindmindandathinkingbrain.Herideaofequalityandself-respectimpressussomuchandletusfeelthepowerinsideherbody.

Inmymind,thoughaperson’sbeautyonthefacecanmakeothersoncefeelthatoneisattractiveandcharming,ifhisorhermindisn’tthesamebeautifulastheappearance,suchasbeautycannotlastfor,whenothersfindthatthebeautywhichhadcharmedthemwasonlyafalsity,it’snottrue,theywilllikethepersonnomore.Foralongtime,onlyaperson’sgreatvirtue,anoblesoul,abeautifulheartcanbecalledasANEVERLASTINGBEAUTY,justasKahillGibranhassaid,that‘Beautyisaheartenflamedandasoulenchanted’。

Icanfeelthathowbeautyreallyis,asweareallfleshlymen,sowecan’tdistinguishwhetheramanisofnoblenessorhumbleness,butfleshlymen,sowecan’tdistinguishwhetheramanisofnoblenessorhumbleness,butastherearegreatdifferencesinoursouls,andfromthat,wecanknowthatwhetheramanisnobleorordinary,andevenobscure,thatis,whetherheisbeautifulornot.

 

ChapterThreeConclusion

Werememberhergoodness:

forsomeonewholostarmsandblindedineyes,forsomeonewhodespisedherforherordinariness,andevenforsomeonewhohadhurtherdeeplyinthepast.

Werememberherpursuitofjustice.It’slikeacompanionwiththegoodness.Butstill,avirtuouspersonshouldpromotethegoodnessononesideandmustcheckthebadnessontheotherside.

Werememberherself-respectandtheclearsituationonequality.Inheropinion,everyoneisthesameattheGod’sfeet.Thoughtherearedifferencesinstatus、inpropertyandalsoinappearance,butallthehumanbeingareequalinpersonality.

Wealsorememberherstrivingforlife,hertoughnessandherconfidence…

Whenwethinkofthisgirl,whatshegaveuswasnotaprettyfaceoratranscendenttemperamentthatmakeusadmiredeeply,butahugecharmofherpersonality.Herstorymakesusthinkingaboutlifeandwelearnmuchfromherexperience,atleast,thatisafreshnewrecognitionoftherealbeauty.

someonetauntstheJaneisinspirationalCinderella,Itotallydisagreewiththisopinion.TherearealotofCinderellainrealitywhowillbedesperatefortheprince.But
