ThisarticlemainlydiscussesthedesignideaandthedesignprocessofthePLCbasedstrappingmachinecontrollingsystem.Itincludesthesequencecontrolofthecylindermovesofthestrappingmachine,thefixed-lengthshearservocontrolofthesteelpacking,andthedesignsoftheMan-machineinterface.

Thethesisintroducesthestrappingmachine’sstudyingconditionbothathomeandabroad,illustratingthenecessityofowningthestrappingmachineoftheIndependentintellectualpropertyrights;

analyzingtheworkflowandthecontrolrequirementsofthegivenstructurestrappingmachine;

designingandchoosingthehardwareofthestrappingmachine’spneumaticsystemandthecorrespondedcontrollingsystem;

establishingthemathematicalmodelofthefixed-lengthshearservocontrol;

choosingthetouchscreentododesignsoftheMan-machineinterface;

doingdetaileddescriptionstotheimportantanddifficultprocessofthePLCcontrollingsystem.

Thestrappingmachine’scontrollingsystemdesignedbythisthesisownsthefunctionsofcountingsteelsautomaticallyaccordingtothesettingparameters,shearingthepackedsteelsautomatically,andfulfillingthemotioncontrolofpackingsteelsautomatically,andatthesametime,realizingtheparametersinputandthereal-timedisplaybythetouchscreen.
