clerks.Shehadnodowry（嫁妆），noexpectations,nowayofbeingknown,understood,
loved,marriedbyanyrichanddistinguishedman;sosheletherselfbemarriedtoalittleclerkoftheMinistryofPublicInstruction.
Shedressedplainlybecauseshecouldnotdresswell,butshewasunhappyasifshehadreallyfallenfromahigherstation.
Whenshesatdowntodinner,beforetheroundtablecoveredwithatableclothinusethreedays,oppositeherhusband,whouncoveredthesouptureen（汤碗）anddeclaredwitha
delightedair.
