一、培养目标
Ⅰ．EducationalObjectives
本专业培养具备生命科学与光、电、计算机等信息科学有关的基础理论知识，以及医学与工程技术相结合的科学研究能力，能在生物医学工程、医学仪器领域以及其他电子技术、计算机技术等信息产业部门从事研究、开发、教学及管理的高级工程技术人才。
Thisprogramestablishesbothknowledgeinlifescienceandinformationsciences（suchaselectronictechnology,photonicstechnology,computertechnology）,andtheskillstocombinemedicalscienceswithengineeringtechnologyinscientificresearch.Studentswillbeabletodoresearch,development,teachingandmanagementjobsinbiomedicalengineering,medicalinstrumentsandotherrelevantfields.
二、基本规格要求
Ⅱ．SkillsProfile
本专业学生应掌握生命科学、电子技术、光子技术、计算机技术等信息科学的基本理论和基本知识，并受到工程技术方面的良好训练，毕业后具备从事生物医学工程研究和开发的基本素质和基本技能。
Studentsshouldhavecommandofessentialtheoriesandknowledgeinlifescience,electronictechnology,photonictechnology,computertechnologyandinformationsciences,andtobewelleducatedinengineeringtechnology.Thegraduatesareexpectedtoacquirebasicabilitiesandskillsinbiomedicalengineeringresearchanddevelopment.
本专业本科毕业生具体应获得以下几方面的知识和能力：
1.掌握一门外语,能熟练阅读外文专业文献，具有基本的外文写作能力及参与国际交流的语言应用能力;
2.熟练掌握电子技术、生物医学光子技术的基本原理及设计方法；
3.掌握信号检测和信号处理及分析的基本理论；
4.掌握生物学、生物化学及基础医学等的基本知识和基本技能；
5.具有较强的计算机应用能力；
6.具备生物医学工程研究与开发的初步能力。
Studentsofthisprogramwillacquire:
1.Abilitytofluentlyreadforeignliteratureinbiomedicalengineering,andthebasicabilitytowriteandcommunicatewithpeopleinaforeignlanguage;
2.Basictheoriesanddesignmethodsofelectronictechnology,andbiomedicalphotonictechnology;
3.Basictheoriesofdetection,analysisandprocessingofsignals;
4.Basicknowledgeandskillsofbiology,biochemistry,andbasicmedicine,etc;
5.Skillstoapplycomputer;and
6.Capabilityofresearchanddevelopmentinbiomedicalengineering.
