(1)只能修饰可数名词的有:

manya/an+单数可数名词(作主语时,谓语动词用单数)
还有many,scores[skɔ:

注意“manya+单数可数名词”的用法:
形式上为单数,但意义上为复数(意为“许
多”),若用作主语,其谓语通常与形式一致而不与意义一致(即谓语用单数)。
如:
Manyayoungmanhastriedandfailed.很多年轻人都试过,而且失败了。
Inwinter,agreatmanyanimalssleepunderthesnow.
Agreatmanyoftheflowersarewhite.
(2)只能修饰不可数名词的有:

注意:
alargeamountof+不可数名词,谓语动词用单数;

谓语动词的单复数取决于mass

注意alargequantityof+名词做主语时,谓语用单数,largequantitiesof+名词作主语时,谓语用复数。
