Historyhasshownthatmultilateralismconformstothetrendofthetimesandservesthecommoninterestsofallcountries.ThatiswhyChinabelievesinbuildinganewtypeofstate-to-staterelationsfeaturingwin-wincooperation,

resolvingdifferencesthroughequal-footedconsultationinmultilateralinstitutionsbasedoninternationallawandrules,andimprovingtheglobalgovernancesystemthroughreforms.IhopethatG20willsendaclearmessagethatitupholdsmultilateralismsoastoleadeconomicglobalisationintherightdirection.

Second,G20isa“majorplatform”forstrengtheningeconomicandfinancialgovernance.Withitsmembersaccountingfortwothirdsoftheglobalpopulation,60percentoftheworld’sland,85percentoftheglobalGDPand

80percentofworldtradevolume,G20playsanindispensableroleinprovidingguidancetoglobaleconomiccooperation.

IntheearlyyearsofG20itsmemberscoordinated（调整，调节）theirfiscalandfinancialpoliciesandpromoted

reformsintheinternationalfinancialinstitutions.Theseeffortshavesuccessfullyledtheworldoutofthefinancialcrisisandbackonthetrackofstabilityandrecovery.Nowisanewcriticalmoment.Astheworldeconomyfacesincreasingrisksanduncertainties,strikinginequalityandimbalance,andsurgingprotectionism,itisallthemoreimportantthatG20shouldupholdthespiritofpartnership,shoreup（支持，支撑）globalconfidenceandworkforrobust（强健的，健康的）,sustainable,balancedandinclusiveworldeconomicgrowth.

Third,G20isa“majorchannel”foraddressingissuesofglobaldevelopment.Manyofproblemsfacingtheworldboildownto（归结）insufficientdevelopment.Withhalfofitsmemberbeingdevelopingcountries,G20representstheinterestsofthevastmajorityofdevelopingcountriesandthushastheobligation（义务，责任）tocreatemoreopportunitiesforthembypromotingworldeconomicgrowth,andtoofferthemmoresupportbyenhancinginternationalcooperationondevelopment.

Goingforward,G20shouldcontinuetogiveprioritytotheissueofdevelopmentasitcoordinatesglobalmacropolicy.Thisincludesimplementingthe2030AgendaforSustainableDevelopment,makingpreferentialpoliciesthatfacilitate（促进，帮助）developmentandcreatingnewdrivingforcesfordevelopingcountriestoeradicate（根除，消灭）poverty,tacklethebottlenecks（瓶颈）andgrowtheireconomy.
