知识点讲解
名词性从句指的整个句子话充当名词。
Tomtellsmeastory.主语宾语
Heismyteacher,Tom.表语同位语(teacher和Tom指的是同一个人/事)
从上面两个句子中可以看出,名词在句子里可以充分主语,宾语,表语和同位语,
故名词性从句包含了宾语从句,表语从句,主语从句,同位语从句四种。
A、宾语从句:
整个句子充当宾语的成分,包括动宾和介宾。
Tomtellsmethatheismyteacher.
注:
1)从句:
陈述句语序;
2)引导词往往是从句开始的标志;
1.引导词:
a.连接词:
1)That:
从句完整(只起连接作用,不表达任何意思)+意思明确
IbelievethatIwillwinthegame.
2)Whether…(ornot):
if从句完整+是否意思
Idon’tknowwhetheritwillraintomorrow(ornot).(天气的主语用It)
IamnotsureifIwillgototheUSA.
b.连接代词
what,which,who,whoever,whichever,whatever,whom,whose:
从句不完整
Idon’tknowwhatisright.
Idon’tknowwithwhomIshouldgoout.(介词后面用宾格形式)
Idon’tknowwhoIshouldgooutwith.
Heisinterestedinwhateverhesees.
c.连接副词
when,why,how,where从句完整,表示地点,时间,原因,方式/程度

2.that是否可以省略
1)宾语从句第一个从句的that原则上是可以省略的,但是自己写作或口语的时候建议不要省略。
2)当两个或多个that引导的宾语从句并列使用时,即使省略了第一个从句的引导词that,后面的that也不可省略。

3.whether/if的用法

注意:
if通常不用于引导主语从句或表语从句,但可以用于引导宾语从句,与whether用法相同,但是在以下情况下只能用whether:
a.在介词后面;
Itdependsonwhetheryoucandotheworkwell.
IworryaboutwhetherIhurtherfeelings.
b.从句中有ornot;
Idon’tknowwhetherheiscomingornot.
c.在少数动词,如:
leave,put,discuss,doubt后面;
WediscussedwhetherMarycouldjoinus.
4.宾语从句时态
(1)当主句是一般现在时或一般将来时时,宾语从句可用所需的任一时态;
IthinkthathemovedtoBeijingfiveyearsago.
(2)当主句是一般过去时时,宾语从句要用相应的过去时态。
Hetoldmethatheworkedinthatfactory.
ShethoughtthatherbosshadbeentoTokyomorethanthreetimes.
(3)当宾语从句为客观事实客观真理时,时态应采用一般现在时。
Theteachersaidthatlighttravelsmuchfasterthansound.
5.it形式宾语
当从句在某个句子中作宾语时,为保持句子结构平衡,常用it作形式宾语,而将真正的宾语放在句尾。
常用it作形式宾语情况:
(1)当从句在复合宾语结构中作某些动词的宾语时(如think,make,find,consider,feel,suppose等);
TheyfounditpleasantthattheyworkedwithusChinese.
(2)某些表示“喜、怒、哀、乐”的动词,如like,enjoy,love,hate等,往往不能直接接宾语从句;
Ihateitwhenmymotherasksmetoeateggs.
6.否定转移:
当主句主语为第一人称,且主句谓语动词为think,believe,suppose,expect,imagine等时,若其后接一个表示否定意义的宾语从句,此时通常应将否定转移到主句上。
如:
Idon’tthinkthathewillleave.
Idon’tbelievethatitiseasy.
在表示建议、劝告、命令含义的动词后的宾语从句,谓语动词需用“should+动词原形”表示,should可省略。
常见的词有suggest,demand,insist,instruct,order,propose,recommend,request,require等。
Hesuggestedthatwe(should)startoffearlythenextday.
Theyinsistedthattheboy(should)gowiththem.
B、表语从句:
整个句子充当表语成分。
引导词的用法和宾语从句中引导词用法一致,且引导词不能省略。
MydreamisthatIcanbeagoodEnglishteacher.
Theproblemisnotwhetheryoucanlivewithothers(ornot).
Hardworkiswhatmakessuccesspossible.引导词充当主语
Honestyiswhatittakestocommunicatewithotherssuccessfully.引导词充当宾语
MyproblemiswhereIshouldspendmyholiday.
C、主语从句:
整个句子充当主语成分。
1)引导词的用法和宾语从句中引导词用法一致,且引导词不能省略。
2)句子充当主语,谓语动词用三单
3)避免头重脚轻,有些可以用it形式主语
ThatEnglishisaninternationallanguageistrue.(that不能省略)
---ItistruethatEnglishisaninternationallanguage.(it形式主语)
Whetherwewillgototheparkornotdependsontheweather.
Whateverhedoesiswrong.
Whoeverleavestheclassroomlastshouldturnoffthelights.(whoever谓语动词用三单)
D、同位语从句:
整个句子充当同位语成分。
同位语一般指的是同一个人或同一件事:
Heismyteacher,Tom.
此处teacher,Tom是同一个人,Tom是teacher的同位语。
1)同位语从句往往是抽象性名词:
fact,possibility,argument,idea名词内容具体化
2)引导词的用法和宾语从句中引导词用法一致,且引导词不能省略。
Isupporttheargumentthateveryoneshouldweartheschooluniform.
Thereisnodoubtthattherearemorejobopportunitiesinthebigcities.
Ihavenoideawhenwillhecomeback.
Thequestionwhowillbeournewteacherisstillunknown.
同位语从句和其他名词性从句的转换
