概述

本单元以新的学期生活为话题展开教学。

课本先从学生返校开始,结识新的同学和老师,介绍了他们新学期学习的新科目、一些班级活动以及同学间发生的小故事等。

第1课通过李明和丹尼的谈话,介绍了新学期遇到了新同学和老师,也要学习新的课程物理。

第2课李明和王梅准备班级照片,并描述照片中的人和物。

第3课是一篇发生在课堂上的会话,同学们互相询问他们的喜好。

第4课以BestFriend为话题,通过一个简短的故事来说明什么才是真正的好朋友,真正的友谊。

第5课李明详细地介绍了他的英语老师。

第6课以日记的形式,呈现了詹妮新学期开学后第一周的情况,复习巩固一般过去时态的用法。

教学突破:

新的学期开始时,学生会遇到新的同学或老师,及新鲜的事物或事情,如何用英语来表达这些内容,无论从口语表达,还是书写成报告形式,都需要积累一定的词汇和句型。

鼓励学生大胆尝试说英语,表达自己的观点,提出建议。

注意方法与价值观的培养:

教师可以先用例文介绍些话题,也可训练学生的听力。

在总结五种简单句的句型结构时,不妨多列举些句子,让学生观察体会后,教师再做语法讲解。

通过制作班级照片的活动,使学生增进彼此间的友谊,团结互助。

【辨析】　theother,theothers,others,another

（1）theother表示两个中的“另一个”。

　　Oneofthetwinsisadoctor,theotherisapoliceman.这对双胞胎中一个是医生,另一个是警察。

（2）theothers表示“其余全部”,相当于“theother+名词复数”。

Manypeoplearewaitingoutsidetheoneisreadingamagazine,theothersarechatting.门外有很多人在等候。

其中只有一个在看杂志,其他人都在聊天。

（3）others指“另外一些”,不是另外的全部,相当于“other+名词复数”。
