OceanbillofladingAcontractfortransportationbetweenashipperandacarrier.Italsoevidencesreceiptofthecargobythecarrier.Abillofladingshowsownershipofthecargoand,ifmadenegotiable,canbebought,soldortradedwhilethegoodsarein-transit.

海运提单，是发货人与承运人之间的运输合同，也是承运人收到货物的收据。

提单代表了货物的所有权并且通过（银行）议付可以在货物还在运输途中时进行交易或买卖

远洋航程，（班轮）干线，全水路运输航程的一部分

后缀“U”代表集装箱，后缀“C”代表底盘
