本节课以john的博客记载john周末活动导入，非常切合学生生活实际，学生兴趣很高，通过let’slearn的图片学生能够理解john的周末活动。
在教学wentswimming和wentfishing时，学生能够很容易的掌握。
但是，ride的过去式rode的读音有些学生很是比较困难。
本节课教授的重点句型大部分学生都能够掌握。

这节课是一节对话课，通过情景复习动词过去式短语和句型。
本节课生词较多，例如felloff，Turpan,mule,LabourDayholiday,Mt.Tianshanxinjiang,couldn’t。
这些地名，节日名称和过去式短语，给学生理解文本带来了很大的困难。
但是，大部分学生能掌握文本的意思。
熟读还是有些困难。
