Well,eveninthisscientificandreason-drivenage,loveseemsstilltodefytotalunderstanding.Wecan,however,knowsomethingaboutloveandmakestrongerconnectionsbetweenindividuals.

Onethingthatseemstoaffectloveisdistance.Thecommonideaisthatthelovebetweenpeoplegrowsastheyareseparated.Sometimesitistruethatlongingforsomeonewhohasgoneoverseasbecomesmoreintense.

Somethingthatnourishesloveisdanger.Sendbothloverstodangerousplacesandtheywillenduplovingeachothermore.Thiscouldbecausedbytheworryitdevelops.Itcouldalsobethatfeelingsofuncertaintyorneedtransformintolovewithtime.

Lovegivesuswarmth,courage,andafeelingofbeingsafe,butitalsodemandsselflessdevotionandsacrifice.Ifyouaretrulycommittedtofindingtruelove,youshouldmakeyourselfmoreinteresting.Dothingsthatyouenjoyandtrytomeetpeoplewhoshareidenticalinterests.

Mysonhasstartedtohangoutwiththewrongtypeofboys.HeisfifteenyearsoldanduntilrecentlyIhadalwaysbeengratefulforhoweasyhehasbeentoraise.Lately,though,hehasceasedtolistentowhatIsay.Heusedtobesuchasweetboy,butbeinginhighschoolseemstohavehardenedhimagainstauthorityfigures.Thechangeinhisattitudehasbeenverynoticeableeventohisteachers.

TheotherdayIaskedhimtocomestraighthomeafterschool,butinsteadherebelledandstayedoutuntilteno'clock.LaterIfoundoutthathehadskippedschoolcompletelythatday.Ifoundoutthathewaswitha（n）bunchofboyswhooftencausetrouble.Idecidedtoforbidhimtodoanythingwiththoseboys,buthedidn'tlistentome.Inspiteofmyobjectionstohimbeingwiththoseboys,hewaswiththemtheverynextday.

Afriendofminehasasonwhoishavingidenticalproblems.Shedecidedtogivehimachangeofsceneryandsenthimtoaprivateschool.I'mnotsurethisisthebestsolution,though.Youcan'tjustchangeaboy'sbehaviorbychanginghisschooleverytimehedoessomethingwrong.Itisbettertohelpakidestablishagoodsetofcorevalues.
