连词主要用来为句子服务的。
连词家族包括并列连词和从属连词。
并列连词连接并列句，其中and，or，but等还可连接并列的句子成分。
从属连词用来连接复合句三大系列从句，包括关系代词，关系副词，连接代词，连接副词和纯连词。
一.备考目标题型及考点点拨
完形填空：
常设考状语从句的从属连词，如if,unless,though等，考生须根据语篇推理判断语义逻辑关系。
语法填空：
连词属虚词，是“语法填空”所设不给提示词三空之必考点。
考生须根据上下文及句法判断，然后填上适当的连词。
包括并列连词、定语从句关系词、名词性从句和状语从句连词等。

二．概念
连词是一种虚词，用于连接单词、短语和句子。
连词在句子中不单独用作句子成分（连接名词性从句的连接代词和引导定语从句的关系词除外）。
连词是为句子及其成分服务的，包括并列连词，从属连词，连接代词，连接副词，关系代词，关系副词。
与连词相关的三大句系：
简单句：
只有一个主谓结构，分为五大基本句型，不需连词连接。
并列句：
由并列连词连接至少两个简单句构成。
复合句：
由从属连词连接的主谓结构充当整个句子的一个成分，含三大从句-----定语从句，状语从句
名词性从句。
三.连词分类
1．并列连词：
连接简单句中的句子成分和并列句。
表示联合
and（同，和）,when（=andjustatthistime就在这时）,notonly…but（also）…（不仅……而且……）,neither…nor…（既不……也不……），aswellas（既……又）
表示选择
or（或者，否则）,either...or（不是……就是）,otherwise（否则，不然）
表示转折
but（但是，可是，只是因为）,yet（可是）,not…but…（不是……而是……）
表示对比
while（而、却）
表示因果
for（因为）和so（所以，因此）
2．状语从句连词：
