in1963computercontrolledistooktheleadintheoverheadstorageintheUnitedStates,builtingthefirstcomputer-controlledwarehouse.Sincethen,theautomatedwarehouseintheUnitedStatesandEuropehavedevelopedrapidlyandformedaspecialsubject.Mid-60s,Japanbegantheconstructionofwarehouse,andthespeedofdevelopmentbecamefasterandfaster,becomingoneofthecountrieswhichhavetheworld'

smostautomatedwarehouse.

Ourwarehouseandmaterialhandlingequipmentonthedevelopmentdidnotstartlate.Chinadevelopedthefirstoverheadstackingcranein1963(MinistryofMachineryBeijingMaterialsHandlingResearchInstitute),andstartedtodevelopChina'

sfirstcomputer-controlledTheAutomaticWarehousein1973(15mhigh,liftingtheMinistryresponsibleformachines),thelibrarywasputintooperationin1980.Sofar,thenumberofautomatedwarehouseinChinahasmorethan200.Duetothehigh-risewarehousespaceutilization,astrongabilitytoenterthelibrary,usingcomputercontrolandmanagementandhelpenterprisestoimplementmodernmanagementandsoon,warehousehasbecomeanindispensablelogisticsandproductionmanagementofstoragetechnology,enterprisestook

moreandmoreattentiontoit.
