ConverttransformerisoneoftheveryimportantequipmentsinH.V.D.Cpowertransmissionsystem,itcanbeusedforinterconnectionbetweennon-synchronousA.Cnetworksandthedeliveryofpowercanbecontrolled.theconvertertransformerishighinreliability、Lowinlosses、smallinnoise、lowintemperatureriseandsmallinpartialdischarge.the800KVconverttransformer,developedandmanufacturedbyTBEAforYunNan-GuangDong800KVextraH.VD.Cpowertransmissionproject,haspassedalloftheroutineandtypetestssuccessfullyinAugust,2009.the800KVextraH.VD.Cpowertransmissionprojectisthefirstlineintheworlduntilnowanditisveryimportantforfurtherdevelopmentinthisfield

Windingassembly:

Windingshallbeinstalledtocorelimbswithintegralassembly,andensureditslightness.Windingandwindingassemblyshallbesubjecttoconstantpressuredrying,toenhanceitsshortcircuitwithstandcapacity.Highintensityofpaddingblockshallbeprovidedtosufferdryingseveraltimesandinordertoenhanceinsulationelectricandmechanicintension,activepartshallbenotallowedtobeexposedoutsideformuchtime.

Oiltankstructure:

Oiltankshallbebelltype,whichisbetterthanconventionaltypeinmechanicalintensionandseal.Abundantofmagneticshieldingandcoppershieldingshallbeinstalledonoiltankwlllandedgetopreventitfromlocalheatingandreducestrayloss.Onlyonepointofmagneticshieldingshallbegrounded.

Oiltankshallbesubjecttovacuum(residualpressureinsidethetank<13.3Pa)and0.098Papositivepressureafterfabrication.Inordertopreventoilleakage,flangeshallhavemechanical(machined)facesandbeassembledwithsealingstopmatchwhichensuresitssealingoftransformer.

Structureofinsulation:

Maininsulationbetweenwindingsshallbeofstructurewiththinpapercylinder,smalloilgap.Moreattentionshallbepaidtoinsulationlevelofthecentreofwinding.Accuracyelectricfielddistributionandcompositiveelectricfieldintensityshallbecalculatedbycomputationprocess.Insulationstructurecanbeadjusted,andleadsshieldingshallbearrangedaccordingtotheprincipalofequip-fieldintensity,tokeepelectricfielddistributionuniformandensureinsulationreliability.
