DaveVizard,authorofMeetingtheNeedsofDisaffectedStudents,saidthetechniquewasanewwaytodealwithpoorbehaviorintheclassroom.“Matchingbodylanguagemeanslookingattheworldthroughtheyoungpersons’eyes”,hesaid.

However,somepeoplesaythatNLPisjustanothereducationalfashion thattakesteachers’attentionawayfromgoodteaching.FrankFuredi,asociologyprofessoratKentUniversity,says,“Everyfewyearsthere’sabigideathatbecomesthethemeineducation.We’vehadraisingself-respect,multipleintelligence,well-beingandhappiness,andthelatestisNLP.Theyaretricksandarethenreplacedwiththenextbigthing.”
