OnlyFeldman’swidowLaurettaknewabouttheautobiographyandthevaluablematerialitcontained,butshefoundreadingittoopainfulandthebookremainedasecret,hiddenfromthepublic.

Itwasonlyafterherdeathin2010thatfamilyfriendMarkFlanagandiscoveredthemanuscript.Fouryearslaterfromthenitwaspublishedforthefirsttime.

Thecomedianandactorfamousforhiscrooked(扭曲的)eyesoncewrote,“Myeyeswereperhapsbroughtonbyanaccidentwhenaboystuckapencilinmyeyeatschoolortheresultofaboatingaccident,whenIalmostdrowned.Mylooksaremycomicequipment,andtheyaretherightpackagingformyjob.”
