教学设计
I.教学内容分析
本模块以ASocialSurvey–MyNeighborhood为话题,通过介绍学生自己的居住地或熟悉的城市展开。
以对话形式,介绍了旅游城市——厦门的概况,掌握相关新词汇,以及就学生自己熟悉的社区这一话题发表自己的观点,通过社会实践写一份调查报告。
培养学生关心社会的主人翁意识和社会责任感。
Introduction部分介绍了与建筑、居住地及某个地方有关的词汇,以及两篇介绍学生家乡的小短文,通过三个活动,使学生可以初步熟悉这些词的意义,为以后的各项学习活动做好准备。
ReadingandVocabulary部分是本模块的主要内容,通过一个对话来介绍了厦门市的地理位置、气候、城市概况。
围绕着课文,设计了四个与课文内容和词汇有关的练习。
通过这些练习,学生可以熟悉课文内容并学会使用与介绍人们的居住地有关词汇,并培养学生的快速阅读能力,以及对词汇的认读和应用能力。
Grammar包括两个部分,第一部分是通过分析句意了解现在完成时的用法之一:
过去发生的动作或事件对现在的影响和联系,并能独立地完成书上的练习;第二部分是学习两类不同的动词(延续性动词和非延续性动词)在现在完成时中的用法,要求学生能辨别它们之间的不同并能正确地使用。
ListeningandVocabulary部分是两篇关于社区状况介绍的听力材料。
在训练听力之前,有一个词汇练习,让学生先熟悉材料当中出现的一些新词,并能通过此部分来猜测听力材料的主要内容;在听力的过程中,着重训练学生抓住文章大意和数据信息的能力;最后配有一个听后活动,让学生进行口头方面的训练,进一步熟悉听力材料,达到学以致用的目的。
Pronunciation部分通过听节选于听力材料中的重读词着手,要求学生掌握句子中哪些词该重读,体会重读体现的情感态度,并能正确朗读,规范学生的语音语调。
Writing部分通过看图说话,让学生先自行说说该怎么描绘一个地方,然后再通过范例对比,让学生体会如何才能较好地描述一个地方,并掌握怎样在文章和句子中运用but和and,从而提高学生的英语写作能力。
EverydayEnglish部分让学生通过做选择题来学习掌握七个来自于听力材料的日常用语,要求学生明确其含义,从而达到会在真实语境中正确使用的目的。
FunctionandSpeaking部分通过问题导入的形式介绍了交际功能中指示方向和地点(showingpositionanddirection)语句,要求学生在回答问题过程中练习怎样指示方向及地点,并能在对话练习中熟练运用。
CulturalCorner部分是一篇介绍西欧农村生活变化的文章,通过阅读本部分内容,使学生了解一些西方国家社会生活的真实面,并能就此向周围的同学介绍一个地方。
还有利于拓展学生的国际视野。
Task部分要求学生调查自己所住地区的情况,并用英语做一个报告,从而锻炼学生的语言综合运用和社会实践能力。
增强他们的社会责任感。
ModuleFile部分有助于学生对本模块学习内容进行归纳,对自己的学习进行反思和检验。
