Thisisbecauserobotsareverygoodatdoingthingsincontrolledenvironments.However,movingthrougharoomfilledwithrandom(随机的)objectsishardforrobots,alongwithpickingupobjectsofdifferentshapesandsizeswithoutdamagingthem.Inshort,itisverydifficultforthemtodealwithcertaintypesofvariables.

Itturnsoutthatoneofthemostdifficultthingstoimproveinrobotsistheirabilitytocontrolobjects.Luckily,greatprogressisbeingmadeinthedevelopmentofrobots.Ontheonehand,excitingdevelopmentsinmakinghuman-likehandsandlegsareunderway.Ontheotherhand,thebiggestprogressmightresultfromusingvirtuallearning(虚拟学习)to“teach”robotsthroughcomputersimulations(模拟).Inthisway,robotscan“guess”whattodowithoutanorderwhentheymeetunfamiliarthingsintherealworld.
