ABSTRACT
Ithasbeenmorethan30yearssincethepolicyofreformingandopeningwascarriedout.Theinternationalbusinessactivitiesgotmoreandmoreshowing.Theresultsofwhetherthenegotiationachievedornotimpactedtheforeigntradedirectly,buttheresultsalwaysdependeduponmanyfactors:
economicbasis,politicalbackground,enterprisecapacity,providingandcompetingofthemarkets.Buttherewasaveryimportantfactorbehindthosefactors.Itwasculturefactors.Withtheeconomicglobalizationandthefrequentbusinesscontacts,culturaldifferencesseemtobeveryimportant;otherwisetheycouldcauseunnecessarymisunderstanding,evenaffecttheresultofthebusinessnegotiations.Ifyouwanttosucceedinnegotiation,youmustdigtheculturedifferences.

Herearesomespecificeffectsbelow,includingthepoliticalsystem,thinkingmode,differentvaluesandbelief,languagestyles,thetranslationandinterpretation.
Theeffectofpoliticalenvironment

Chinesestyleseemstobeformalthattheyalwaysusebusinessexpressionsinthenegotiationandbefixedwithintheframeworkofpreparationbeforehand;Westernstyleishumorousthattheyusedailyexpressionsandareflexibleaccordingtothechangingsituations.Onthepartofintonation,westernersusepassivevoicefrequently,buttheyarelogicalinside;Chinesearehabituatedtousetermsandlongsentences.
