课标、教材及学情分析
教材分析
本单元以一篇题为“David’shobbies”的短文贯穿整个单元，短文通过介绍大卫·史密斯的爱好——写作，给他带来的喜悦和成就，还探讨了业余爱好对于学生的意义，鼓励学生善于发展多项业余爱好，启发和引导他们善于思考，敢于创新的精神。
同时，由短文引出的新单词、短语、句型及语法，要求学生重点理解和熟知，并能通过练习更好的通过。
学情分析
本单元是对“业余爱好”相关知识的学习，这是一个既有意义，又能引起学生兴趣的话题，是培养学生兴趣、爱好的良好素材。
初中二年级学生对这一类已早有体会，话题、内容都贴近现实生活，同时本模块涉及的语法知识点是对已学过的简单句的句型结构加以归纳概括，难度不大，所以学生在学习的过程中也不会感觉太吃力。
