无论是人行道的尺度，闪亮的楼宇，还是那些由电子与时装两大业态激活的街头生活，都是每个都市梦寐以求的场所。

Ineedtoborrowbooksinlibrary.Asanurbanenvironmentthatgreworganicallyovertime,HuaQiangBeiRoadanditsneighboringstreetsundoubtedlyneedimprovement,butwebelievethatanyinterventionmustfirstandforemostpreserveHuaQiangBeiRoadsuniquecharacter,takingactiononlytoenhanceitsrichness,notsmotherit.随着城市环境的有机成长，华强北及其周边街道无疑需要改善。
但我们相信任何改善方案，首先必须保护华强北的独特性，所有措施必须是提升街道生活的丰富性而不是扼杀它们。

briefproposal指引性方案我们的方案灯笼的主要部分位于街道上空，并且包含了很多较有特色的商业空间Thelanternsarelifteduphighabovethestreetandcontainspecialdestinationsaswellasconnectionsacross.日景鸟瞰图/DAYBIRDVIeW概念/cONcepTSpecificInterventionsratherthanasingleapproachThenewprogramiscutupinto5iconiclanterns采取精巧的干预，而不是简单覆盖整条街新的功能被置入到五个标志性的灯笼当中brief指引性方案我们的方案proposalweproposethereforeanewkindofurbandesignapproach:
urbanacupuncture,actingpreciselyandstrategicallytogetthroughallthechannelstocreatethemaximumimpactusingminimalmeans.weuseasystematicandsyntheticalUrbandesignmethodtocombinesthesoftnessoflandscapedesign,theprecisionoftraf-ficengineering,andthepowerofarchitecturetoimproveflows,strengthenidentity,andcreatenewpublicspace.因此我们采用了一种新的城市设计方法-城市针灸：
精准而富于策略地打通筋络，以最小化的干预获得最大化的效果。
我们采用系统而综合的城市设计手段，将景观设计的轻柔，交通规划的精确和建筑设计的力量融合在一起，来改善流线，强化个性，创造一个新的公共空间。
为了改善流线，我们通过建立一个绿色的街道景观来组织交通和改善人行道的环境。
与ARUP的交通工程师研究过后，我们在巴士站和街道路口方面提出了一系列具体的改进，提供新的的士上下车站以及位于地下的物流配送空间。
我们和景观设计团队BalmoriAssociatesi一起，设计了多种遮荫效果更佳的树种以及座椅、喷泉和铺地。
通过景观设计创造荫凉通风的街道，街头景观还重组了行人流线，明确了动静分区，减少了相互干扰。
这些景观的系统可以延伸至周边的道路，改善华强北片区的环境质量。
为强化华强北的个性，我们通过创造一系列的活动节点来规划该区域有活力的新景象。
这些节点尺度不同。
其中最引人注目的则是大尺度的5个“灯笼”。
“灯笼”在街道上空营造了与两侧商业相联系和互补的全新的公共服务空间。
“灯笼”与中国传统街道的“牌坊”异曲同工，通过它们为华强北创造一个难忘的“城市印象”。
这些“灯笼”又如同针灸：
准确选择“穴位”，为街道注入能量并对其进行重组，最终疏通经络，使街道获得新的呼吸。
灯笼的底部是跨街步行桥，根据街道两边的需求提供灵活的空中连接。
灯笼植根于地下，在地下形成连系地铁站间和街道两侧的连续空间，该空间也为大型的公共活动创造了机会。
而尺度小一些的节点包括公交车站，报刊亭和座椅。
街道是强有力的公共空间，我们相信通过创造新的公共空间能够进一步大幅提升华强北的活力。
为此我们建议在“灯笼”和地下空间里建立公共空间来鼓励新的公共活动项目并将现有的公共项目扩展到一个更大的规模。
我们还建议通过引入一些文化的和社会事业的项目来增强商业的活力。
这些项目可以包括：
华强北电子科技展览馆，华强北历史展览馆，公众信息中心，投诉中心，空中“绿洲”，观景平台和深圳创意设计中心。
地下空间可以继续公共项目和功能，提供画廊，表演场所，食品街的大型的图书馆或书店。
本案是在尊重华强北的这一公共场所的独特性的前提下，重塑了必要的流线，营造了符合其性格的城市新形象和一个放眼未来的为公众使用的空间。
通过有策略的干预，我们在不破坏华强北原有最有价值和根本的特点的同时将新生活引入。

usedatonlyafew,precisepointstobringenergyandorganizetheflowsaroundthem,lettingthestreetbreathebetterbetween.Theyarealsobridges,connectingonesideofthestreettotheother.Thisstreetlifecontinuesbelow,connectingmetrostationsandsimultaneouslycreatingareasforlargepublicprograms.Smaller-scalednodesincludebusstops,newsstands,andseating.Streetsarepowerfulpublicspaces,andwebelieveinthecreationofnewpublicspacetomultiplyandenrichthelevelsofactivityonHuaQiangBeiRoad.Oururbanschemeproposespublicspacewithinthelanternsandintheundergroundspaces,toencour-ageeitheractivitiesthatdonotcurrentlyexistonHuaQiangBeiRoadorthatcannowexistatamuchlargerscale.ToaddtoHuaQiangeBeisvibrantcommerciallife,weproposeculturalandin-stitutionalprograms:
anexhibitionspaceaboutelectronicsandthehistoryofHuaQiangBei,ahubforpublicinformationandacom-plaintscenter,aparkandplayground“oasis”intheair,alookouttoadmirethecity（shapedlikealucky“8”）,andaDesignCentershowcasingShenzhensinnovation.TheUndergroundspacescon-tinuethepublicprogramandprovidespaceforgalleries,perfor-mance,afoodhall,andagiantlibrary/bookshop.WebelievethatthisapproachtotheurbandesignofHuaQiangBeiRoadwillrespectthedevelopmentofthisuniquepublicplacewhilecreatingthenecessaryflows,imageandnewpublicusesforitsfuture.Throughstrategicinterventions,webreathenewlifeintothestreetwithoutdestroyingitsessentialcharacter.夜景鸟瞰图/NIGHTBIRDVIEW地下室范围轮廓线UndergroundAare地下室范围轮廓线UndergroundAare改进/ReVISIONSOriginalSchemeRevisedSchemeAfterreviewingthejurycommentsandhavingaseriesofmeetingsinShenzhenwithjurymembers,localHuaQiangBaylandlords,officialsofthePlan-ningDepartmentandrepresentativesoftheShen-zhenTrafficCenter,wehaverevisedourschemesignificantlysincethecompetitionpresentation.Wehavemadethelanternsmuchsmallerandreducedtheirnumbertofive,createdmajornewpublicspaces,workedcloselywithexpertsatAruptorevisethetrafficschemeforthestreetandthedistrict,consultedwithArupsengineersonphasingandconstructability,andincludedlandscapearchi-tectsBalmoriAssociatesontheteamtodevelopadetailedgreenstreetscapedesign.原方案修改之后的方案在研究过评审委员会对本方案的建议，并在深圳与评审员，华强北业主，规划局官员以及深圳交通管制中心的代表成员进行多次会议后，我们对评标报告时的方案进行了较重要的修改。
我们将“灯笼”的尺度缩小并让它们的数量减少到5个。
营造了许多新的活动空间，与ARUP的专家密切合作并制定出一系列有效改善华强北街区交通问题的方案。
并与ARUP的工程师探讨了工程分期及施工所涉及的问题，包括和景观设计团队BalmoriAssociates一同拟定了具体的绿色街景规划。

WorkingwiththeworldwidetrafficexpertsatArup,wereachedanagreementthatwewillsolvetheconflictbythesoftmethodoftrafficsupervisationinsteadofdoingabigoperationtoHuaqiangbeiRoad.ThelanternsprovideavibrantnewidentityforHuaQiangBei,organizethepedestrianandvehicularflowsandcontainmajornewpublicdestinationsfromaDesignCentertoanElec-tronicsMuseumtoaPark,aLookout,andanInformationHub.Thereducedlanternsremainaminimumof15metersabovethestreet,maintainingviewsacross.Bridgeshavenowbeenincorporatedat+8meterstoeasestreetcrossingandconnecttothesecondlevelofexistingbuildings.Eachlanternwillglowatnight,providingavisibleandattractivenewsymbolofthestreetsandthecitysfuture.WeimaginethelanternstobecomeiconsfortheLEDmanufac-turinginShenzhen,allowingconstantlychan
