TylerwasborninfectedwithHIV;hismotherwasalsoinfected.Fromtheverybeginningofhislife,hewasdependentonmedicationtoenablehimtosurvive.Whenhewasfive,hehadatubesurgicallyinsertedinavein(血管)inhischest.Thistubewasconnectedtoapump,whichhecarriedinasmallbackpackonhisback.Medicationswerefastenedtothispumpandwerecontinuouslysuppliedthroughthistubetohisbloodstream.Attimes,healsoneededextraoxygentosupporthisbreathing.
