Therearenow,however,anumberofwebsitesspringingupontheWorldWideWebtohelpwomendealwiththisissue.SitessuchasGameGirlz,WomenGamersandGameGaloffergamereviews,articles,discussionforumsandevenemploymentopportunitiesforwomeninterestedinbecomingpartoftherapidlyexpandinggamesindustry.Thegamesarereviewedbywomenfromaveryfemaleperspective.Someratethegamesfromonetotenacrossarangeofcriteriawhichincludetheappearanceofthefemalecharacters,thedegreeofintelligenceattributedtotheminthegameandeventhemarketingattitudeadoptedbythecompany.Thesitesareobviouslylookingforgamesthatmoveawayfromtheverymaledominatedandviolentnatureofthemajorityofcomputergames.Manyofthemreviewgamesthataremoreconstructiveanddevelopmental.Althoughthecommonfantasythemesofknights(骑士),witchesandgoblins(妖精)stillexistwithinthesegames,theaimsareoftenverydifferent.Insteadofdestroyingopposingarmies,theaimofthegamecanbetomakepeacewiththem.
