1、梅尔-凯瑟开车在哥伦布的一条繁忙的高速路上行驶，他看见前面有一辆装甲车和几辆汽车，突然，装甲车的门开了，一个蓝色的塑料袋从车里掉出来。
在凯瑟先生前方的一辆汽车撞到了那个袋子，袋子扯破了，钱从里面洒了出来。
接着，另一个袋子从装甲车里掉出来，然后接二连三的……钱飞得到处都是。
起初司机们都以为高速路上那绿色的小纸片是树叶子，接着他们反应过来，那些绿色的纸不是树叶而是——钱！
司机们立刻把他们的车停在了高速路中间，人们跳下车，开始捡拾那些钱。
他们把10元、20元以及100美元面值的票子塞进自己的腰包，一个男人说，“钱、钱、钱！
都是白拿的！
尽你所能的抓吧！
”
凯瑟先生也走出了他的车。
他抓起一塑料袋的钱，把袋子扔进自己车里驾车离开了。
后来凯瑟先生清点那些钱，他得到了五万七千美元。
接下来的两个小时里凯瑟先生一直在想怎么用掉它们。
他需要为他的房子买一些火炉，还想去佛罗里达度假。
