Whatmakesmoneyvaluable?

Whyisapieceofpapermarked$10worthmorethanonemarked$1?

Youcouldsaythereisnoreason.It’struethataspecialkindofpaperisusedtomakedollarbills,andtheyarepretty,butthat’snotwhatmakesthemvaluable.Therealreasonmoneyisvaluableisthateveryonebelievesitis.
