2.WORKINGPRINCIPLES

2.1MeasuringPrinciples

ThemeasuringprincipleofelectromagneticflowmeterisbasedontheelectromagneticinductionlawofFarady.Thesensorismainlycomposedofmeasuringtubewithisolatelining,apairofelectrodesinstalledbypenetrationofthemeasuringtubewall,apairofcoilsandironcoretoproduceworkingmagneticfield.Whentheconductivefluidflowsthroughthemeasuringtubeofthesensor,thevoltagesignalindirectproportiontotheaverageflowvelocityofthefluidwillbeinductedontheelectrodes.Thesignalisamplifiedandtreatedbythetransmittertorealizevariousdisplayfunctions.

2.2ConverterCircuitSchematic

TheconverterssuppliesastableexcitingcurrenttothecoilinthesensorofelectroneticflowmeterstogetBconstantandamplifiestheelectromotiveforceandconvertitintostandardsignalsofcurrentorfrequencysothatthesignalscanbeusedfordisplaying,controllingandprocessing.TheschematicofconvertercircuitisshowninFig.2.1.

6.3ParameterConfigurationandOperationPassword

Thesettingparametersdeterminetheoperationstatus,calculationmethodandoutputmodeoftheflowmeter.Properlysettingmeterparametercanmakethemeterworkinbestconditionandhigheraccuracyofdisplayandoutputcanbeobtained.

Therearefivelevelsofpassword,wherelevel0-3areopenforuserandlevel4reservedformanufacturer.Level1to2passwordsarechangeablebyhigherlevelpassword-holder,e.g.Level-3password.

Metersettingcanbebrowsedbyenteringanylevelofpassword.However,higherlevelpasswordisneededtochangesettings.
