SPCCharts

Overview

PanaPRO/ProcessManagerautomaticallyupdatestheStatisticalProcessControl（SPC）databaseonaperiodicbasis.PanaPRO/SPCChartsthenperformsSPCanalysisonthisdata.

YouusetheSPCChartsprogramtochartSPCdataforagiventimeperiodinawiderangeofstatisticalgraphformats.Youcanuseoneofseveralcategoriesofsemi-determinedgraphtemplatesorcreatecustomtemplatesforindividualsiteconditions.Onceyoucreateachart,youcanalterthepropertiesandappearance.

SPCChartsalsoperformsExceptionAnalysis,asophisticatedwarningsystemthatmonitorsmachines.Inaddition,itprovidesseveralutilityfunctions,includingQuickRuncharts,datamanagement,andexceptionviewing.

SPCDataCollection

ProcessManagercommunicateswithmachines,collectingandstoringthreetypesofoverviewdata:

performance,feeder,andnozzleinformation.ProcessManagercanalsouploaddataaboutspecificNCprograms.Inordertouploadinformationofthistype,theprogramfromwhichyouwanttouploaddatamustbeactive.

SPCChartscollectsSPCdataonlywhenenabledthroughPanaPRO/IPOProManager,byclickinginthe"EnablePolling"checkboxatthetopoftheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow.

♦ToaccesstheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow:

1.OpenPanaPRO/IPOProManager.

PanaPROdisplaystheProManagerwelcomewindow.

2.SelecttheFactoryExploreroptionintheFilemenu.

PanaPROpromptsyoufortheSystempassword.

3.TypetheSystempassword.ThedefaultvalueisPass2.

PanaPROdisplaystheFactoryExplorerwindow.

4.IntheFactoryDefinitionwindow,clickontheplussignnexttotheword“Factory”.

Thenamesofthelinesinthefactoryappearbelowtheword“Factory”.

5.IntheFactoryDefinitionwindow,clickontheplussignnexttothenameofthelinewithwhichyouwanttowork.

Thenamesofthemachinesinthelineappearbelowthenameoftheline.

6.IntheFactoryDefinitionwindow,clickontheplussignnexttothenameofthemachinefromwhichyouwanttocollectSPCdataorperformExceptionAnalysis.

IconscontrollingthemachineselectedappearintheContentswindowtotheright.

7.IntheContentswindow,double-clickontheSPCChartsInfoicon.

PanaPROdisplaystheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow.

♦ToconfigureSPCCharts:

1.OpentheFactoryExplorerwindow,machinelevel.

2.Intheleftwindow,selectthemachinefromwhichyouwanttocollectdataforcreatingSPCchartsorforperformingExceptionAnalysis.

3.Intherightwindow,double-clickontheSPCChartInfoiconforthismachine.

TheSPCChartsConfigurationwindowappears.

4.EnableordisablepollingforthismachineasdesiredbyclickinginthecheckboxatthetopoftheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow.

5.IntheSPCChartsHostNamefield,typethenameofthecomputerthatyouwanttoexecutepollingandperformExceptionAnalysisforthismachine.

6.DeterminehowoftenyouwanttouploadmachineinformationbyclickingontheappropriatechoiceinthePollingMethodcategory.Youcanselecttheglobalpollingperiod,inwhichcaseSPCperformspollingonceperhour,orspecifyacustomfrequencybyenteringitinminutes.

7.DeterminewhethertoperformExceptionAnalysisonthismachinebyclickingontheappropriatechoiceintheExceptionAnalysiscategory.IfyouenableExceptionAnalysis,typethefrequencywithwhichtoperformit.ThehighestfrequencyforAnalysisisonceperpollingperiod.

8.IfyouhaveenabledExceptionAnalysisforthismachine,selecttheexpressionsforwhichtoperformAnalysis.See“ToconfigureExceptionAnalysis”,below.

9.IfyouwanttosetuppagingasafeatureofExceptionofAnalysis,checktheEnablePagingcheckbox.See“ToconfigureExceptionAnalysispaging”,below.

10.ClickOK.

ExceptionAnalysis

YouusethebottomgroupontheSPCConfigurationwindowtoactivateordisableExceptionAnalysis,andtosetthetypesofdataonwhichtoperformExceptionAnalysis.ExceptionAnalysisisanalarmmanagementsystemthatenablesyoutoquantifylimitsaboveorbelowwhichanyexpressionshouldnotgo.Youcanspecify,forinstance,thatthenumberofpanelsproducedisnottofallbelowacertainnumber.Ifitdoes,adialogboxappearswarningyouofthisfact.Ifyouusepagersinyouroperation,youcanalsoconfigureExceptionAnalysistopagewhateverpersonneedstobeawareoftheexception.ExceptionAnalysisisapowerfultoolformonitoringdetailedactivityontheproductionfloor.

♦ToconfigureExceptionAnalysis:

1.ClickontheAddbuttonintheExceptionsgroupboxatthebottomoftheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow.

TheAvailableExpressionswindowappears.

2.IftheexpressionforwhichyouwanttoperformExceptionAnalysisappearsintheAvailableExpressionswindow,highlightitandclickOK.Thenskiptostep11.

3.IftheexpressionforwhichyouwanttoperformExceptionAnalysisdoesnotappearintheAvailableExpressionswindow,oryouwanttocreateyourownexpression,clickontheNewbutton.

TheExpressionEditorwindowappears.

4.Selectafieldthatyouwanttouseinyourexpressionbyfirstselectingthetablefromwhichthefieldshouldbedrawn（production_reports,nozzle,orz_cass）,thenhighlightingtheappropriatefield.

5.ClickonthePastebutton.

ThefieldappearsintheNewExpressionwindow.

6.Completethenewexpression.

∙Toincludeanoperator,highlightitandthenclickonthePastebutton.

∙Toincludeanumeral,selecttheFieldValueNumberfield,typethevalue,andthenclickonthePastebutton.

∙Toremoveastepfromtheexpressionyouarecreating,clickontheBackSpacebutton.

∙TocleartheNewExpressionfield,clickontheClearbutton.

7.WhentheexpressionforwhichyouwanttoperformExceptionAnalysisappearsintheNewExpressionwindow,clickOK.

Adialogboxappears,requestinganamefortheexpression.

8.Typeanamefortheexpression,thenclickOK.

TheAvailableExpressionswindowreappears,updatedtoincludethenewexpression.

9.SelecttheexpressionandclickOK.

TheSPCChartsConfigurationwindowreappears,withthenewexpressiondisplayedatthebottom.

10.ClickontheentryforthisexpressionintheConditioncolumn.

11.DeterminetheconditionforwhichSPCChartsshouldissueawarningbyclickingonthedrop-downarrowthatappears,thenselectingtheappropriatecondition.

∙SelectAboveifyouwantSPCChartstowarnyouwhenacertainvalueisexceeded.

∙SelectBelowifyouwantSPCChartstowarnyouwhenacertainvalueisfallenbelow.

∙SelectIgnoretodisableExceptionAnalysisforthisexpression.

12.IntheValuecolumn,typethevalueabovewhichorbelowwhichSPCChartsshouldissueawarning.

YoucanviewahistoryoftheexceptionsforspecificmachinesduringspecificperiodsoftimebyusingtheExceptionViewer.

♦ToconfigureExceptionAnalysispaging:

1.IntheExceptionAnalysisgroupontheSPCChartsConfigurationwindow,checktheEnablePagingcheckbox.

2.ClickontheEnablePagingarrow.

ThePageforCellwindowappears.

3.Usingthedrop-downlist,selecttheComporttowhichyourmodemisattached.Iftheselectionisanewone,clickontheApplybutton.

4.TypethemessageSPCChartsshouldissuewhenitdetectsanexception.

5.SelecttheindividualswhoSPCChartsshouldpagewhenitdetectsanexceptionforthiscellbyclickingintheappropriatecheckboxesinthePage?

column.ThenamesthatareavailableforpagingaredeterminedthroughthefactorylevelofFactoryExplorerinProManager.SeeChapter2,ProManager,forinformationonconfiguringpagers.

6.Whenthecorrectnamesaremarkedforpaging,clickOK.

Coplanarity

Thenumberofcoplanarityerrors.Thecoplanarityprogramchecksthecomponentsfromthesidetoseethatallleadslieinthesameplane（nonearebentupordown）.Anerroroccurswhenanyleadexceedsthespecifiedtolerance.

MachineDownTime

Thetotalamountoftimethatamachineisinanerrorcondition（notrunning）,beforepressingtheResetbutton.TheResetbuttonactstocleartheerrorandputsthemachineintothereadystate.

ExhaustCount

Thenumberoftimesamachinestopsoperatingduetocomponentdepletion.

ExhaustTime

Theamountoftimethatamachineiswaitingforapartexhausttoberesolved.Formachinesrunningindualcarriageexchangemode,thistimeperiodisonlyincrementedwhenbothcarriagesareinpartexhaustandproductioncannotcontinue.

LoadErrorCount

Thenumberoferrorsencounteredwhileloadingtheboard.

PanelsProduced

Thenumberofboardsproducedbyamachine.

PatternsProduced

Thenumberofpatternsproducedbyamachine.

PCBRecognitionError

ThenumberofPCBrecognitionerrorsotherthantype（72）.Thisincludescaseswhereproductioncontinues.

PCBShapeErrorCount

ThenumberofPCBrecognition（dimension）errorsoftype（72）.ThisincludesPCBrecognition（dimension）errorswhereproductioncontinues.

PCBWaitLoad

Theamountoftimethatamachineiswaitingforapaneltoarrivefromupstream.

PCBWaitUnload

Theamountoftimethatamachineiswaitingtoreleaseapanel,beforecontinuingoperation.

PickupCount

Thenumberofsuccessfulcomponentpickups.

PickupErrorCount

Ingeneral,thisisthenumberoferrorsthatoccuratpartpickup,notincludingstandingpickups.Dependingonhowamachinedetectsthatnopartwaspickedup,thecausecouldbevacuumerrorsorpartunderthicknessmeasurementsdetectedatthelinescansensor.Formachineswithpartthicknesssensorsthiscouldmean:
