IfcellsdonotreceiveO2 &nutrients and wastesaccumulate,cellswilldie!

Rememberthisisthecardiovascular system,whichiscomposedoftheheartandbloodvessels.Blood,aconnectivetissueiscirculatedthroughtheseorgans.

II. LOCATION/SIZEOFHEART:

A.        Location=within mediastinum.

III. HEARTSTRUCTURE

A.        CoveringsofHeart =Threemembranes:

1.    SerousPericardium

a. visceral  pericardium=innermostdelicateepithelium+CTcoveringsurroundingtheheartmuscle;

b. parietal pericardium=innerliningoffibrouspericardium;

B.        The HeartWall iscomposedof3layers:
