Flushtoilet（抽水马桶）

SirJohnHarrington，godsontoQueenElizabeth，madethefirstflushtoiletforhimselfandhisgodmotherin1596.Hewasteasedbyhisfriendsandnevermadeanotherone.

In1775，AlexanderCummingsreinventedtheflushtoiletmorecommonlycalledthewatercloset.Twoyearslaterin1777SamuelProsserappliedforandreceivedapatent（专利）forit.
