1.HowdoesMarygettoschool?
玛丽是怎样到学校的？
本句是how引导的特殊疑问句，用于询问交通方式。
how疑问副词，意为“如何，怎样，用什么样的方式”。
其回答方式主要有两种：
动词短语（在句中作谓语）：
take+a/the+表示交通工具的名词+to（乘坐……去……）
rideabiketo（骑自行车去……）；walkto（步行去……）
介词短语（在句中作状语）：
by+表示交通工具的单数名词；on/ina/the+表示交通工具的单数名词；onfoot步行。
例如：
Iwalktoschool./Igettoschoolonfoot.我步行去上学。
Irideabiketoschool./Igettoschoolbybike./Igettoschoolonmybike.
我骑自行车到学校。

【温馨提示】onfoot，bybike,bybus,bysubway,bytrainbycar等词组中的名词前不能加冠词或其他修饰词。
2.onehundredandfive一百零五
hundred数词，意为“百”。
当hundred前面有具体的数词时，被修饰的名词用复数，hundred本身还用单数形式。
即：
“基数词+hundred”。
例如：
Thereareabouteighthundredstudentsinourschool.我们学校大约有800名学生。
【拓展】当hundred与of连用时，它后边的名词和它本身都用复数。
hundredsof意为“数以百计”，此时不能与数词连用。
例如：

howfar意为“多远”，用来提问距离或路程的远近。
常用句型：

it是形式主语，真正的主语是位于句子后面的动词不定式todosth.。
