Thankyoufor’regoingtomakesomehistorytogether,welcometoknow,itwasjustayearagothatIwasuphereandannouncedthatweweregoingtoswitchtoIntelhuge,hearttransplanttoIntelIsaidthatwewoulddoitoverthecoming12diditinsevenmonths,anditwasthe—it’sbeenthesmoothestandmostsuccessfultransitionthatwe’veeverseeninthehistoryofouritwasbecausewemadeabeautiful,seamlessversionofOSXforIntelourteamcreatedRosettasoftwarewhichletsyourunPower-PCappsontopofOSXonIntelhardwareteamgottocrankingoutanewMacwithIntelprocessorseverymonth,andwecompletedthistransitioninsevenwedidn’tdothisdidthiswiththehelpofalotofnewcolleaguesatIntelreallyhelpedyouverythird-partydevelopersrapidlymovingtheirappstouniversalversionstorunatnativespeedsonIntelyouverymostofall,ourminuteyousawtheselightning-fastmachines,youbought‘we’vehadanextremelysuccessfulyear,andIwanttothankourusersverymuch.

Now,asmanyasyouknow,ourretailstoreshaveforawhilebeensellingoverhalftheirMacstopeoplewhohaveneverownedaMacbefore:

So,thefirstthingIliketodoisgiveyouanupdateaboutourmusicyouknow,we’vegottheiPod,bestmusicplayerinthe’vegottheiPodnanos,brandnewmodels,colorsare’vegottheamazingnewiPodiPod,inadditiontobeingtheworld’sbestMP3player,hasbecometheworld’smostpopularvideoplayer,andbyalargeiPodNanoistheworld’smostpopularMP3player,byawidethenewshuffleistheworld’smostwearableMP3wehadanincredibleline-upforthisholidayseason,allrefreshedandnewI’dliketotellyouafewthingsaboutiTunesnowthatareprettyone,wehavecrossedamajorhavesoldover2billionsongson’s,therewasanarticlerecentlythatsaidiTunessaleshadsloweddon’tknowwhatdatathey’relookingat,butthisisourdata,andwhatweseeisiTunessaleswerereallyupthistookusoverthreeyearstogettoabilliongotoursecondbillionin10monthsingrowingoffanover600millionsongbase,wedoubleditinwecouldn’tbehappierwiththegrowthrateofiTunesandselling2billionsongs.

That’’ssold,wewerethefifth-largestofthegrowthofiTunes,IampleasedtoreportthatwehavenowpassedsellmoremusicthanAmazon,andwearenownumberyoucanguesswhoournextTargetmightthat’sanupdateformusic.

NowIwanttotalkaboutTV’vegotawesomeTVshowsonamatteroffactwehaveover350TVshowsthatyoucanbuyepisodesfromonI’mverypleasedtoreportthatwehavesoldnow50millionTVshowson’tthatincredible?

Now,letmegoontowestartedwithtelevisionshows,thepioneeringpartnerwehadwastheWaltDisneydecidedtothrowinwithusandsellTVshows,andboydidit,whenwedecidedtosellmovies,theywererightwithusthereagainasourpioneeringpartnertosellIamreallypleasedtoannouncethatinthefirstfourmonthsofsellingmovies,wehavesoldmillionmoviesoniTunes,whichIthinkhasexceededallofourtoday,wehaveanewpartnerjoiningtheWaltDisneysellmoviesoniTunes,andthatis’rethrilledbecausetheyhavesomeawesomemejustshowyouafewofthetitlesherethataregoingupaswesixStarTrekwearegoingtobemovingupfromthehundredmovieswe’veofferedsofartoover250moviesnowofferedonaregettingupasfastaswecanoverthenextweekorwehopetobeaddingevenmoremoviesasotherstudiosthrowinwithusas2006rollsthat’sanupdateoniTunes.
