  Commondentalproblemsseeninchildrenarecavities(龋洞)andgingivitis(龈牙),whicharefoundinthemajorityofU.S.children.“Whentheseproblemsarenotcaughtearlyandtreated,theycandevelopintomoresevereproblemsandcauseunnecessarysuffering,”saidMcGuire“However,muchofthetime,oralproblemsareavoidableproblems.”

  IntheRioGrandeValleyinTexas,agroupofmorethan120dentistsvolunteerstodeliverdentalcaretothousandsoflow-incomechildreneachyearwithitsMobileDentalUnitthattravelsfromschooltoschool.
