1.教材分析

本单元以OlympicGames为话题,旨在通过本单元教学,使学生了解奥运会的起源、宗旨以及比赛项目。

学会询问别人的兴趣爱好,以及如何向别人推荐某一种爱好,同时培养学生对体育运动的爱好。

1.1WarmingUp通过关于OlympicGames的9个问题的提问,让学生用已有知识和经验回答问题,检测学生对OlympicGames知道多少,激发学生学习本单元的兴趣。

1.2Pre-Reading通过学生对三个问题的讨论与交流了解奥运会有关知识。

1.3Reading通过古希腊的一位作家到现代社会采访一位中国女孩的方式,介绍奥运会的有关知识,也让学生们了解了古代奥运会和现代奥运会的异同。

1.4Comprehending是利用表格和问题的形式对文章进行分析了解从而找出古代与现代奥运会的异同点以及对文章内容细节的深化。

1.5LearningAboutLanguage分词汇和语法两部分。

第一部分DiscoveringUsefulWordsAndExpressions中的第一个练习,根据语境的应用掌握词汇,第二个练习是通过了解单词的意思来掌握单词,通过熟近义短语来掌握新短语。

第三个则一篇小短文,要求用第二题所填的单词来填空以巩固新词。

第四个则是通过同词根的词与词的转换练习来掌握单词的不同形式。

第五个则是有关介词的练习,并区分同一动词因宾语的不同而所用不同的介词。

第二部分Discoveringusefulstructures则通过创设一种情景来练习将来时态的被动。

1.6UsingLanguage分为Reading,Listening,Speaking,Writing四部分。

Reading是与运动有关的一篇文章ThestoryofAtlanta要求通过TrueorFalse来检测阅读情况。

Listening是Reading中故事的继续。

通过听这段材料,让学生知道故事的结局。

Speaking是通过hobby这个话题,根据提示,四人一组,进行关于学生兴趣的讨论。

Writing是通过向别人介绍自己的一种兴趣爱好来训练写的能力。

2.教材重组

2.1把WarmingUp作为Reading的导入内容。

把Pre-Reading,Reading和Comprehending整合在一起上一节精读课。

2.2把LearningAboutLanguage和WORKBOOK中的USINGWORKDSANDEXPRESSIONS和USINGSTRUCTURES结合起来上一节系统语法课。

2.3把UsingLanguage中的Reading与WORKBOOK中的READING放在一起上一堂泛读课。

2.4将UsingLanguage中的Listening和Workbook的LISTENING以及LISTENING放在一起上一堂听力课。
