Itisanumbrellatermforrepresentingallformsofmisusedartificiallight.Inthebroadsense,lightpollutionisdefinedastheunwantedchangeofnaturallightlevelsintheenvironmentduetoeffectsofman-madelightsources.Humanactivitiesaredirectlyorindirectlyresponsibleforthisformofpollution.
