Notsurprisingly,Tani’sstory,firstreportedbyTheNewYorkTimes,hasbroughthimgreatsupportfromthepublic.SoonaftertheyoungboywontheNewYorkChampionship,MakofskybeganaGoFundMeactivityforTaniandhisfamilysothathecouldcontinuehischessjourney.Itraised$200,000injusttendays,farmorethantheyexpected.Andthemoneykeepscoming.Butthefamilydonates（捐赠）mostofthemoneytothechurchandtothosepoorfamily!
