languageknowledge,languageskills,learningstrategy,culturalawarenessandaffects.Writingteaching,asanindispensablepartinEnglishteaching,playsacrucialroleinachievingtheaimsofTheNationalEnglishCurriculumforSeniorMiddleSchool.
ThispapertakesthereadinglessonofNewSeniorEnglishforChinaStudent’sBook2Unit2“MyFavoriteSport”asanexample,whichmainlyadoptstask-basedlanguageteachingmethod,byshowingthelessonplaninterpretation,thelessonplanandtheself-evaluationtoexplorehowtoteachEnglishwritinginclasseffectivelyinseniormiddleschoolsundertheNewNationalEnglishCurriculumStandards.
